I was thinking of upgrading from vincent firmware but just from both of you regretting it i think ill just stay on his since i haven't had to many problems. Was hoping he would come up with a new version but im guessing that won't happen now.

So i have a teyes head unit and don't really like the lockdown they have with their firmware. I was thinking of trying these since I saw they are like teyes without the locked firmware on my sister's 2012 Toyota Tacoma. Are these pretty good?

Yah it makes me regret getting teyes now I know how the company is but live and learn. Thanks for the review on his firmware I'll give it a go since I didn't update to the newest firmware

Curious about the people that use Gordgelin firmware how do you all like it I've been thinking of switching over to try it out. On stock, I've been using the nova launcher and my own background for a while now then and all of a sudden my unit keeps loading teyes launcher every time the screen...

Err maybe I'm not doing this right but is there an option to auto-link the logo with the station for the city? I get like a ton of different logos for different cities and i have no clue which one is for my station

Hmm, I saw comments on here about how locked down teyes are and that other brands aren't near as bad. Just got to thinking if it even would be possible to throw on another brand's firmware that's basically the same on this unit or maybe thats just a stupid question and its not possible

It's not on teyes website and posted it on a Facebook teyes forum and no one knows why its 03 2022 firmware since the most recent one is from Jan 2022

It will be awhile before someone else picks up the pieces and makes something new but this was the best gem app that will be missed

I thought since it said it was 720 HD it would look half decent but nope it just was blurry not sharp at all and the colors were just washed out . Hope someone has something better.

Teyes support said they asked their engineer and they just flat out told no that it will not work. but i was free to try it.

Just wondering if anyone else has this problem I programmed my steering wheel volume up and down so when i long press it brings it down fast. But every time i restart the car it takes off the long press and i have to reprogram it over and over
