TWRP doesn't support decrypting android 12 data partition yet, which is why it is happening. Did you try other Android 12 ROMs?

Most of the flashlight and wifi bugs come from the kernel I ship, which should be switched out with the next release

yes indeed, 3.6.1 is also out, and it supposedly fixes adoptable storage, so maybe give that a whirl as much as I'd love to implement features, there's not much I can do on that front because it's again a source side thing and not a device side thing :(

I'm sorry I haven't updated the thread in a while. You can update it from the settings safely. The development hasn't stopped, but there haven't been any major device side changes recently. The current build only has broken fingerprint and screen recording, the bluetooth bug has been fixed...
