it is a hardware fault relating to the lcd. this is usually seen when the phone has been dropped. and is a broken lcd. i know its stated it wasnt dropped but that is the issue

if its failing at sboot then you may need to flash the bootloader as well if you are flashing as separate files

the best thing to do is get the repair firmware files from sam mobile, flash each file in the right loading area. i.e cp for cp, ap in ap. if you flash a full file (usually names HOME) it never repairs the phone fully

i heated the backup and actually took it off. i found because it was hot the paint started to peel easy anyway, so i just used my fingers to peel it away. after that i used some isopropanol alcohol to clean it down

Re download the rom and try flash it again. I'd recommend you use a pc/laptop to download the rom again, then hope and pray you havnt damaged your device Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
