Post [Q] Windows Phone 8 and WhatsApp

I can't verify my number on my Lumia 920. Seems others have this issue as well.

    Post Android to windows?

I'm another who has just switched from Android to Windows Phone. I picked up my Lumia 920 from EE on a T-Mobile contract the Friday just gone. I had done a lot of reading first and was receiving recommendations from a couple of friends as I was getting tired of Android and had begun to hate my...

Fully stock, updated manually via adb sideload in recovery. Worked perfectly. :victory:

    Post Getting this device?

£239 for the 8GB version? Hell yes I am buying one! I don't use much storage and this'll go great with my Nexus 7 16GB. :victory:

Post I'm never buying a non-Nexus device again

I bought my Nexus 7 on the 19th for £190 (16GB model) and it's by far the best Android purchase I've ever made. I will certainly be sticking to Nexus devices from now on as well. Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda premium

Post CyanogenMod 10 JB Discussion/User Thread

That stopped the crashes. I reduced the widgets in APW to only two (the two I actually use), now the launcher doesn't crash. Looks like it's crashing because there's a lot of widgets. Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium

Post CyanogenMod 10 JB Discussion/User Thread

Might be because of the sheer volume of widgets I have. Android Pro Widgets adds a lot to the list, and that's when it started crashing.

Post CyanogenMod 10 JB Discussion/User Thread

Anyone else having issues with the widgets tab causing the launcher to crash, especially when browsing newly added ones? Edit: Flicking through the pages quickly crashes it very easily.

I'm actually running into the same problem. Ended up doing it manually.

Post POST ALL NOTE 2 RELATED COMMENTS HERE ONLY- Have SystemDump

I've had my Note for 2-3 months, and I really don't see this as a worthy upgrade for me. When I went from a Nexus S to a Note, then it was a big upgrade. But Note 1 to Note 2 isn't much for me.

Post [NIGHTLIES] CyanogenMod 9 Discussion Thread

Yup, tried 5 different modems. All the same. I've had to revert to the official ROM for now too. :(

Post [NIGHTLIES] CyanogenMod 9 Discussion Thread

In CM9, I had issues where the signal would drop out and stay off until I gave the phone a reboot - mostly when it was in standby and it lost signal with T-Mobile, then didn't bother to switch to Orange. Has this been fixed in CM9.1? I can't seem to see anything related in the changelog.

Post [ROM][GT-N7000][JB][4.2.2] Official CyanogenMod 10.1 Nightlies

With all the bricks I must ask - is flashing preview 2 from preview 1 considered safe?

Post [ROM][GT-N7000][JB][4.2.2] Official CyanogenMod 10.1 Nightlies

Why? Linux will use RAM for cache to keep the system running at optimal speed. If it begins to run out, it'll remove things from cache first. 'SystemPanel App / Task Manager' on Play can show you what apps are cached so they start up quicker. There's a free/lite version of it as well. There's...

I can confirm that. Otherwise, this is brilliant for the first preview. :)

Because Adobe dropped Flash support after ICS came out. Edit: Sigh. Would've been good if I had noticed the date of that post on the app. -.- Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium

Post Android OS battery bug fixed on 4.0.4

This. I've got the same install as I did when the ROM first came out, and my battery life has been the same as it was on Gingerbread, even though 'Android OS' sits at the top.

Post [GUIDE] CWRecovery flashable working Root SperUser for stock ICS 4.0.3

The su binary has been updated. Run the updater through Superuser (3.0.7, update from the market) and it should say 3.0.3.2 is available. That version causes Superuser to work properly - it'll ask you about root permissions now. :)

Post ICS on Nexus S Complaints, Dissapointed, Downgrade

I haven't had any performance or battery issues on my phone (i9020T). I've been on the battery for almost 20 hours now - that includes half an hour playing a game, and leaving Talk open during the night while I was asleep. It's now at 33%, which I consider extremely good, and my screen is set to...

Post [Guide] Root for ics update works ... orly? RLY! instructions for perm recovery too

I had to manually update Superuser through the markat as the one in your zip kept force closing, but it works perfectly after that - root access back! :D
