There's no strong reason for not formatting external sdcard as vfat. It's just that I'm worried about it's compatibility on Windows i.e. performance wise read-write speed. Also I don't know how to format as vfat. I would really appreciate if you help me out regarding this. Also my internal...

While flashing this ROM using PhilZ recovery, it showed the error "mmcblk09", something like that. & thereafter the phone got stucked at boot animation, leaving a bootloop. How can I successfully flash this? Can you give detailed steps for the flashing process? Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk

I'm using bauner's NightOwl ROM, and 'm facing problems installing your kernel. When I boot into recovery to flash it, it doesn't get recognized. On moving to the path of the kernel file, I get a message saying no files found. Help !!

You haven't configured adb correctly for your computer. If it was done properly, you would have got your device listed. Please follow proper instructions before attempting anything worthy to your device. :)

Same with other devs. They share their impressive work and leave out all the rest to us. What we script kiddies can at the most do is to have our devices boot-looped! So it becomes really irritating as well as sadistic that persons with such immense knowledge decide to deprive others of it. :(

Yeah, TouchWiz is really ****. But, even then there should be some tweak to enable GB to work on the stock. Hope it works out in the future. :)

Here DDLSC is the kernel version you are looking for. Search for the PhilZ recovery for this specific version in the directory.

For N7000, PhilZ Advanced Recovery is something we can't miss. And it's popular among root-ers'. What happened to you is really questionable and awkward :v at the same time. It may be due to : 1. You might have downloaded the recovery for the wrong kernel version. Check it again. 2. While...

Installing it by changing the kernel seems to be a bit almost-bricked type of task to me ( cause of my resisting nOOb traits :p ). I have searched the forum and even found one by dr.ketan. But, due to unlimited post related to the warning of using CWM unmodded to N7000, I can't tempt to follow...
