That's my experience with Omnirom too. That project shut down and still no solution. The phone work then slows down until it freezes. Now I reboot when it starts to slow down. Sucks.

Does this support usb audio via otg cable? I need to use my ODAC usb dac across the system if possible. Specifically Spotify.

otg on Omnirom I got my usb disk working with an OTG cable. I had no luck running a JDS Labs Objective DAC. Is this phone/rom capable of running a usb DAC?

Flashed Jan 7. Twice I plugged to a stock charger and phone just lost power. It didn't charge. I had to reboot for it to charge.

Try Settings-Manage Apps. Clear cache and data in Gallery. The phone may do a media scan so don't get alarmed if it gets warm.

Go over to the N7000 Themes and Apps forum. The 4.2 apps on the XXLS2 thread should work with PA.

I think the reason the video camera isn't working is because Camera 4.2 includes Picassa sync. This was the same problem when installing the jb-picassa 20121011 zip along with Gapps 20121011.

Flashing kernels and cache/dalvik wipes sometimes doesn't fix the problem. What fixes most problems is to flash stock GB. Do a full wipe. See if that gps works. Then start over. This seems time consuming considering the number of apps you have but it may be quicker than finding an "easy" fix...

If you still have the XXLRT rom file that you used and the matching Philz file, just flash them again. Boot into recovery and flash any custom rom you want.

To clear the boot loop, flash factory Gingerbread and do a full wipe. Flash a kernel that is rooted and has CWM and you are back in business.

If you have time to go to the bathroom you have time to flash this rom.

Install GotBrickbug-v1.2.apk to check if your Note has the brick bug. Run the app and it should tell you.

I think the photos are smaller so that the cpu can handle the near real time processing. 8mp frames stitched together will be too much to handle.

To be safe, do a full wipe WHILE you are on GB. Then update to ICS. The phone should be clean. This way no risk of the brick bug.

I totally agree. When I flashed XXLRT I got from sammobile, and never bothered with Kies again. PC Odin was more reliable, having more control with the download and flashing. The release of Germany updates is also sooner than Kies or OTA for other phone.

Have you tried removing the battery to turn off the phone and boot into recovery with home+power+up vol keys? Of course battery charge is of primary consideration when flashing.
