I figured it out. So many guides and none of them updated with latested info. I hate using toolkits, but WinDroid Universal Android Toolkit v2.4.exe did the trick.

I have unlocked the bootloader, flashed recovery twrp-2.8.6.0-m8.img, and flashed UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.99r4.zip. SuperSU says "no SU binary installed" and SunShine stops at No Root Found! I'm not sure what the next step would be. Any help or a point in the right direction would be greatly...

Sometimes, the Google search box has an "outline" mic icon and OK Google doesn't respond from home screen or Google Now. Other times the icon is "filled in" style and the hotword works. What is the rhyme or reason?

Happened to me once this morning actually. BSoD (Black Screen of Death). Interesting that the notification light was flashing, but the alarm was missed and like you said, screen never turned on. I thought about hooking up to adb and looking at a logcat, but I had to get ready for work.

TWRP 2.6.3.2 touch recovery [2013-11-02] TWRP was recently updated to support 4.4 ROMs like this one. I just updated from V2 to V3 using 2.6.3.2 TWRP and it worked great. :highfive:

Is anyone else having issues with Netflix on the last few nightlies? It says something about not connecting to Netflix servers and then crashes... Worked fine before 10/6 (pre 4.3.1) and I know it is not my internet as my N7 is working just fine. If it is just me, then I can just go bugger off.

Had the same problem. Switched to Purity ROM and now everything is fine. I dirty flashed BTW. Fixed a LOT of problems I was having with PA. Which is too bad, because I love PA on my N4. Dirty flash is: TWRP > Wipe > Advanced > Cache, Dalvik, System. Then flash ROM, GAPPs (official)...
