    Post [ROM] ParanoidAndroid 4+

Re: [AOSPA 4.2.1] PARANOIDANDROID 2.99 betaNINE.9+ (Jan 24) | PIE, FIRST BETA RELEASE Hi, Awesome job so far, running super smooth for a first beta :) One question though: Why does the camera app not have a photosphere mode? Does the Note not support that feature? Thanks so much Sent from...

Post [ROM] PARANOIDANDROID 2.51 | Per-App COLOR (newest PA invention), Dpi & UserInterface

Anybody else having problems with the Play Store saying apps aren't compatible? YouTube for example crashes on startup and the market reports it's incompatible. Also a few other things, the update to The Verge app being a recent example. Is this a bug or not? Otherwise, this is really fantastic...

Post [ROM] PARANOIDANDROID 2.51 | Per-App COLOR (newest PA invention), Dpi & UserInterface

The volume level with headphones is probably the really annoying thing about this ROM, other than that it's fantastic! Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda app-developers app

Post Android vs ios which is laggy?

Android has to deal with hundreds of unique hardware configurations, iOS with only a few, and with those few being developed in tandem with iOS itself, by the same team. Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda app-developers app

    Post JellyCore v2

I know that on CM based ROMS memo sketchbook + other memo clones run just fine, the ROM has s-pen support, just not Samsung developed app support. Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda app-developers app

Thread [Q] How do I compile CM10 from git?

Hi, I've been trying to compile JB for a while now and I can't seem to get it to work. Following instructions on the Teamhacksung wiki to 'compile CM10' results in breakage because a lot needs to be pulled from Hacksung's git repo. Once all dependencies are pulled in the proprietary file...

Post [ROM][GT-N7000][JB][4.2.2] Official CyanogenMod 10.1 Nightlies

Fantastic! Thank you so much :) downloading now, been trying to get the CM9 source to build on my Linux machine for a while now to try and help out a little, here's hoping! Sent from my incredible GT-N7000 using xda app-developers app

I was getting this, do you use chrome? Try disabling this option, seems to have worked here: Settings -> Developer tools -> Enable Tilt Scrolling. Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda app-developers app

Post What's the most vanilla ICS rom for Note?

Just my two cents: I found PA to be super buggy in comparison to CM9, the boot splash didn't fit the screen and the UI lagged a lot more, some of the apps were great in tablet mode, but CM9 feels overall far more suited to the Note. Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda app-developers app

Post Memo, simple note taking app

Has anybody found a way of fixing resizing imported images on CM9? The blue box apears, but above the image. Really fiddly. Perhaps, as a workaround, just an option to have it fill the canvas by default/at the click of button? Palm Detection also..... What's different about CM9 that's causing...

Post [NIGHTLIES] CyanogenMod 9 Discussion Thread

For some reason my Note has decided to switch from using /sdcard as the internal storage mountpoint to using /emmc. This is annoying because it broke a load of apps (like the camera) which say they need an sdcard. I went into settings and ticked: "Use Internal storage", but that doesn't seem to...

Post [NIGHTLIES] CyanogenMod 9 Discussion Thread

So far it seems fantastic, far nicer than TouchWiz! One annoying thing is that palm-detection doesn't seem to be working in CM9, though this looks like a widespread issue so I guess it must be hard! Secondly, I keep getting freeze-ups in the Youtube app (mainly when clicking 'back' out of a...

Thread [Q] Is CM/AOKP/Stock ICS 'safe' on the GNote?

Hi, I'm thinking about getting a Note, but I can't bear TouchWiz, and I'm definitely a power user. I was looking around on whether it was feasible to get a nice ICS ROM on the Note working properly and I came across the hardbricks people are having. Everything seemed very confusing, and there...
