I cant save photos sent to me inside Facebook messenger & any screengrabs I edit vanish when I try to move them to another folder in Gallery, maybe this is more to do with the apps needing updating by developers? stock unrooted

your missing the point, I do not have any backups anywhere & cannot backup due to lack of space, I have deleted the two backups on phone with a total size of just over 12gb, I have not gained 1mb of extra space by doing this, I want to avoid a full factory reset but may have no other option

Since the last update I have repeatedly got the "out of storage space" warning when trying to update apps, despite deleting a backup of 6gb I still have havnt gained so much as 1mb of extra space, any ideas why?

strange, I had a OTA update notification tonight to 6.0.1, didnt think this ROM supported OTA, (it refused to install after download as well), anyone else had this?

It doesnt look like theres going to be an update any time soon for the N5 it would appear the jump to 5.1 is causing problems for devs, theres 5.1.1 out now as well

Fully flashed latest build (not dirty) & all seemed OK for 24hrs then phone f/c, on restart root was lost, ROM appears to work fine just no root, reverted to previous version to get root back (havnt got android SDK installed, bout time I did!), have a missed something?

Lockring I am on Beanstalk 4.4.2 r1 & AtomNexusLockring doesnt appear to work so I tried X5Locking & that one works a treat, :good:

Boot time cracked it!! when you get to the point in install were you get asked if you want Viper boot.img or "other" this time I selected *other" & it reinstalls modules BINGO! ROM installed :D gonna take a while to get used to new android style & Venom tweaks but its gonna be good, thanks...

Boot time can someone post boot.img for 4.0.1 please I wonder if theres something wrong with my extracted boot.img, I did have trouble extracting boot.img in the platform-tools folder with 7zip, I had to extract to another folder then move it across to platform-tools

Yep boot.img is in platform-tools folder, Ive gone through what Ive done to see if Ive done something "silly" but im stumped with this one, only ever had one problem flashing before & that was with a low battery.

Boot time How long to first boot? Ive tried upgrading from 3.7.5 Pro - 4.0.1 & my HOX is stuck on HTC screen for 30-45mins, I have had to Nandroid back to 3.7.5 three times now,. reflashing boot.img as suggested doesnt have any effect either. I have tried going from 3.7.5-4.0.0 also without...

it looks like Ive restored something I shoudnt have! I would recommend the RUU route to updating to JB every time, nice n simple :)

just an update to this thread ran RUU_ENDEAVOR_U_ICS_40_TMO_UK_1.29.110.11_Radio_1.1204.105.14_release_260731_signed.exe successfully. performed OTA updates from TMobile culminating in JB :laugh: finally installed ViperX 3.3.7 & all OK until I restored apps in Titanium, now Sense crashes...

thanks Mr Hofs does the .exe need to be in a specific folder when run? i.e. platform-tools is the file OTA_ENDEAVOR_U_ICS_40_TMO_UK_1.28.110.7-1.26.110.5_release256527.zip for updating stock ROMS? it will probably be Saturday before I can make another attempt, I will let you know how I get on

after using fastboot getvar version-main I got 1.28.110.7

I tried updated to JB from Viper 2.7.1 by attempting to go back to stock using RUU_ENDEAVOR_U_ICS_40_TMO_UK_1.28.110.7_R2_Radio_1.1204.103.14_release 256500_signed.exe & it didnt go to plan. After I relocked the bootloader I couldnt get any further with the process & my phones battery ran flat...

the battery icon, battery bar & clock colour change are all features in Venom Tweaks for the ViperX 2.7.1 ROM

I got one, stock battery has more power, poor substitute

got a Samsung 16gb Class10 & the speed increase using Revolution 6.1.3 ROM is amazing, highly recommend Class10 cards, only cost £16 @Play.com too
