They use to old the older ROM but after switching i keep getting errors when trying to copy or delete data onto the external sd card. I thought formatting it from within the OS fixed this by re-adjusting the encryption on the ext-sd but i did that and its still read only.... odd. Any ideas...

Question.... How do i get my EXT-SD Card to become Read/Write via apps. Ive tried formatting it within the Android 10 OS but still cant write files to it. Any ideas?

You dont need to upgrade the Modem or Bootloader. I am using the old Android 8 Modem and Bootloader, no issues at all.

Any known really annoying bugs with 2.1 so far? Am keen to switch from Android 8 to 9, but only if its bug free :D Edit: Installed it. No errors or issues so far except occasional lag during clicking some settings menus.... odd. Other than that. Everything is fine on it, working flawlessly.

I have an OEM Unlock issue.... Waited a full week for the OEM Unlock. Ticked it last night. Rebooted to download mode > Flashed TWRP > Passed. Rebooted to TWRP, it showed up, then it presented a bunch of red code errors before quickly resetting and defaulting back to normal Recovery again...

Totally agree. After upgrading from 2.03 to 2.04 OMFG.... Battery drain completely gone. Little glitches or force closes are gone. Its snappy (fast and responsive) and everything is working perfectly. I must say this is the best my S7 has ever been since i got it.... fantastic job !!!

Excellent, thanks for testing that. Glad im not the only one with this issue. Does beg the question though.... why are there so many dependencies on Chrome.... very odd.

I figured out what the issue was.... took 3 reflashes. DO NOT FREEZE CHROME APP. If you freeze this app. It causes other apps like Evernote, PayPal, ROM ToolBox etc to constantly crash. I have NO idea why. I have had no issues in the past with freezing Chrome (or not having it installed at all)...

Yep did that for both. Made sure i upgraded my BL and CP to the Oreo ones. Can someone with this ROM already installed please do me a very small favour, just download any one of those apps above and tell me if they work for you... if they do, ill just reinstall again and again until it fixes...
