The service menu doesn't come up. I think it's because I have the cyanogenmod ROM. I found the service manual and it had this section: I'm not sure if it confirms/denies that this phone is indeed tri-band as it had all 4 UMTS bands in there!!!

Hi, Tried 1.2.1 but no go, I got "Error writing recovery, no space left on device" After a few "out of memory" errors. So I tried 1.1.0 which worked no probs. Any ideas what went wrong?

The LG UTC-100 is for the LG cookie (KP500, which you may have confused with our P500) and the viewty etc, and these have a different connector. The one we're looking for is the LG UTC-200M, which does have micro usb. But all of this is irrelevant, since nowhere does it say (to my knowlege)...
