I'm really happy that some people are still working on development for the amaze. I can't really try this as I can't live without bluetooth or wifi-calling (due to the reception at home). Glad to see that not everybody has moved on and can't wait to try this in the future!

Perhaps a stupid question, but a searched a bit and can't find it in the settings. How do I change the background setting from black back to white in the gmail app and also change the font back to black? I really don't like the black background with white text is this rom.

On a 5gb plan - these settings worked for me initially, but later it said could not resolve the proxy. I called t-mo yesterday and they switched my plan to the 5gb hotspot plan for free.

I guess I should call HTC as well. I thought about calling them, but the Anker has a big better so I didn't mind plopping down 30 for 2 batteries.

I can confirm this. I called t-mo and they basically told me that I'm SOL on a battery replacement. So, I got the Anker 2 pack on Amazon for 30 bucks, and I haven't had a reboot since.

The root folder means the base folder on the Card, or another way to say it: not in any subfolders.

Well, holy crap, I figured it out. I put it into recovery and it updated something and then loaded up a different android animation. Not sure what or why, but I'm good now.

Okay, I was able to find version 10s after much searching and used the KDZ flasher to flash using this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1060121&highlight=kdz For some reason though, it does the T-Mobile sound and then goes to the Android animation and never gets past...

I'm stuck on the boot animation after doing this. Am I bricked? It stayed on that menu until the battery ran out all last night. Make it even worse if I try it again or can I even try it again?

Well, perhaps I should have been more clear on what my problem was. Wifi works fine as does wifi calling, but whenever I would wake the phone up after a period of not using it, the wifi wouldn't work unless I turned wifi off and then back on again. Anyhow, I did partition and wipe the card...

Well, I still like this ROM, but I'm having issues with the WIFI and I almost lost all of the pictures I took yesterday (not sure if that is directly related to the rom, but I would assume it is). I think I'm going to flash something else until if/when the WIFI thing is fixed.

Is the end result something you could share after you added the apps from T-mobile? Also, a P509er and I'm not sure how one would do what you described.

In the thread from Mik for CM7, it says something about shoddy bluetooth headset calls. How bad is it? That's the only thing holding me back.

I finally rooted my Optimus One P509 and installed the Megatron rom. I tried searching, but wasn't able to find a similar thread in this forum. Installing the rom, I lost my wifi calling app from T-mobile. Would it be possible for someone to post the .apk? Thanks.

Understood, just the way he's doing it. If he said "Call T-mo, but if it's a long wait then I can do it.", then I would view it in a more positive light. Right now, it looks like he's hoping for some sap that doesn't know they can call T-mobile to get it will pay him for something they can get...

I called today and put my request in the the unlock code. The only reason I had to wait is I haven't paid in full for the phone yet. She said it would take about 24 hours. RHCP, I've seen you in so many threads pimping your ability to unlock people for $$$... pretty despicable if you ask me...

Just download it and put it on the phone. There are no hoops... it's super easy.

It's not after 90 days. He should call them first and then come back to you if he doesn't want to wait (if he even has to wait). I believe the T Mo rep said you had to either paid the phone in full or be a customer for 40 days when I called.

You know... it's cool that you developed a way to unlock phones and want to get paid for it, but you could at least lay out the other option: calling T-mo and getting the unlock code FOR FREE.

I'm also abroad and worried about trying to unlock. Can't you guys get it swapped out under 1 yr warranty with HTC?

WTF, so I called T-mo and the recommended that I format the SD card and factory reset. So, I did and now it's rebooting even more. This thread wouldn't exist if there was a fix, but is the only way sending it back? I'm in Japan and it will be a monster pain in the ass... so done with this phone....
