    Post [DISCONTINUED][ROM][8.0.0] ExperienceOS R46.0 + Extensions [OOS 5.0.5 + OB39 Based]

jamal2367 Would you be willing to add Wireguard support into your builds? (wireguard is a new VPN protocol that can silently stay connected to the server with nearly zero battery drain) They publish a simple local_manifest include that compiles the Wireguard patches into the ROM so wg can...

    Post [DISCONTINUED][ROM][8.0.0] ExperienceOS R46.0 + Extensions [OOS 5.0.5 + OB39 Based]

FYI, I just upgraded Magisk to 12.0 and everything still seems to work fine (SafetyNet passes, Root works, etc). I haven't been away from a power supply since upgrading to Experience v17.0 and can't comment on battery life, but the changelog for Magisk 12.0 does fix some selinux issues so it...

Has anyone nailed down the process to get a SafetyNet pass on a recent build of the ROM? There was some discussion a while ago about using alternate kernels but I wasn't able to find any clean reproducible steps. I've been fiddling with uninstalling supersu+installing magisk but have only...

    Post [EOL][ROM+KERNEL][6.0.1] Unofficial CyanogenMod 13.0 with 3.4.0 kernel [Apr 30, 2017]

It looks like this build is affected by the mobile radio active bug. Check the "mobile radio active" stat in the battery menu for the offending apps, they're not actually using it but android doesn't want to put the radio to sleep. I just came from the old nightly-based unstable build and can...

Sultan's April 9th update reverted some of the related mobile radio code to the Lollipop version as an attempt to fix things. Sultan claims it fixes all MRA issues, and it sounds like it's working for you.

Miscellaneous is just how Android shows you the measurement error that it has made. It makes literally no actual difference on true battery life, and turning user.debug off just hides it. Don't worry about it.

Post [ROM] [NIGHTLY] [KitKat] [4.4] CyanogenMod 11.0 nightlies [3.0 kernel]

I've followed that guide about a dozen times now, installing the Evervolv package so that I get access to CWM (and an older version of android, equivalent to 10.2). Then I flash this newer version of CWM over that one, but the new version doesn't mount the existing SD card, so there seems to be...

I haven't been paying much attention to the screen wakes, and I don't use alarm labels, but I can confirm random reboots. Honestly, I expect and accept things like reboots on most non-stock installations on my devices. It's just the cost of the added feature set, and is hard to get away from...

I've seen it mentioned once in the last couple pages, but I'll also chime in, USB tethering works perfectly, but WiFi tethering doesn't. When you enable it, the option goes "inactive" and just says "Turning WiFi On". The regular wifi connectivity gets disabled and it won't re-connect until I...
