Post [Q] Sony Xperia T haven't OTG official?

So then it is weird that usb host diagnostics says it does not work on the LT30p? Or maybe there is a problem with the test procedure for the diagnostic app? I am looking for a phone with OTG (maybe cheaper than the T), and my two sources are XDA-dev and http://usbhost.chainfire.eu/, and...

Post [Q] is there USB OTG support on the S3

Thanks for the reply. I guess I'll wait for a JB for the S3 and see if OTG works. Actually what I want is OTG, to be able do download pictures off the camera, and the One S (even S3) would be a nice choice, overall. At the moment I'm using an Optimus One, and I'm quite happy with it, except for...

Thread [Q] is there USB OTG support on the S3

I've looked around for quite a bit, and I haven't found a definitive answer for my question: Does the S3 One S support USB OTG? If so, is it with or without external power? I'm thinking of getting one, but only if it has OTG. The chipset (S3) apparently supports it, but can it be used? All...

Post Optimus One support USB host mode? (update: working now!)

As far as I know it does not support usb host or OTG out of the box. Also I don't know if the sources are there for usb host or otg, in order to be compiled in the kernel. I think that they are, because nobody bothers to remove the sources, they just don't compile them into the kernel. Also, as...

Post Optimus One support USB host mode? (update: working now!)

for my phone it did not work. The cable I use is the CA157 filed to fit in the connector om the phone. The problem is that the the O1 does not provide USB power, so you need to hack that in some way (use some external power supply), which I did. Also, I have tried several kernels (stock, mik...

This was reported to be working by the original poser of this thread, who also did the first steps of development. I only gathered some info (posted here on this thread). In my case it did not work (don't know why... maybe OS version) The thing is that the driver for USB host generally IS in...

rooted, tweaked, some stock apps removed, installed franco kernel, but I am still using the stock rom because I do't want to lose the apps I have installed and all the data, as I have mentioned. Thread [Q] How to deodex a stock froyo?

I was wondering if you can deodex a stock froyo rom, or at least how to get a deodexed rom on the phone without losing all the data on it. I have been using the phone for about half a year and I don't want to lose all the info on it (SMS, emails - lotus, apps, settings etc.) Thanks in advance

I got it to work by extracting the zips and then making new ones on a computer (using winrar to archive the the files as zip). Maybe something was wrong with the archives... Anyway, it worked, and now i am using the new kernel. And it works great. Thanks! Sent from my LG-P500 using XDA App

You will have to use a Y usb cable. There are some pictures of my cables, and a general schematic. What he meant by "the microUSB-A cable and power source connected" was actually "provide USB power to the bus from an external source, because the phone does not provide power to the USB bus"...

Hello, Can anyone help me with a description of the USB OTG functionality on the ZTE Blade ? I am interested in: What drivers are installed (USB Host, USB Gadget, USB Storage, etc.) that are related to USB OTG functionality. How the phone recognizes if it should be in USB Host or USB Gadget...

Post Battery life -- How to
