Recently reinstalled crayon v3 and phone was on fire! Immediately uninstalled and restarted phone - battery was down by 40% (60% -> 20%) Phone is cool now. But what should I do about this problem?

I have installed tweak V3 mostly for quick charging. What I found was phone was charging real quick - and discharges equal fast. My battery runs haywire. I uninstalled tweak. But now battery is getting drained super fast. And if I restart my phone, battery drops by 20% to 30% while it starts...

Currently I m on Pure Nexus (6.0.1) rom.. it's really amazing in smoothness.. I have installed Bank's gapps.. all is well till now except battery drain.. it's almost 1.5 times more than my stock LP. So I want to remove gapps.. I know that I can reinstall rom after wipe and not install gapps...

Well, these sort of tries I have already done. Yes I m using open Gapps.. Banks Gapps are too heavy (290mb !!). System partition might not have these much space. As I tried on resurrection remix. I could only install Open Gapps Pico on that. I have tried open Gapps Pico, nano, micro here on...

Yeah I was on pure stock. Stock ROM kernel and recovery. Btw, I unrooted my phone with simply unroot and then OTA update went well. So now I am on stock 5.1 unrooted. Thank u all.

But prior I didn't need to unroot to upgrade anytime! To upgrade JB to KK or KK to LP, I didn't unroot before installation.

Does NRT modify system files while rooting? I didn't flash custom recovery. How can I know whether there are modified system files? I used to get OTA on same status before.

I tried update at 4 pm and nothing. Then I force stopped Google service frameworkb(gsf), deleted catch and data for gsf, and tried update again and there it showed up just in a few seconds!!! :P But without GEL kit-kat is almost no different than our old jb on nexus4.. Sent from my Nexus 4...
