1.7 lockup While running the 1.7 test 2, I got a system lockup where I couldn't load any apps. I see that test 3 is out, but it looks like the problem persists.

I found another recovery and restarted the phone. It thankfully started cooperating.

v1.2 first impressions I installed v1.2 yesterday, and it's quite a bit better than v1.1. The GUI is faster to respond and animate, the animations are more fluid, and the overall system stability is better. Looking forward to the next regular release! Great job on this kernel!

Compatibility I installed PurePerformancesX, while having xKat 3.0 installed. After installing the rom and mod, I installed the kernel (or somewhere around that order.) After installing the kernel, my device started crashing and restarting itself. Any ideas as to why this might happen?

I'm updated to the latest OTA update for 4.2.2. I'm quite confused as to how to start rooting the device. I've gotten to the adb shell step, but it says that su isn't found. I tried to skip to the 4.2.2 step, but nothing there helped either; still no root. What's going wrong here?

I'm also having the same problem. I'm on a de-odexed ROM, and it says that it flashes correctly (TWRP,) but when the system boots up, the bar is still non-transparent. What's going on here?

Nice!! Really liking the feel of this keyboard! I also got the recent apps bar to work; I like it much better than the old one. It feels more like actual multitasking than minimizing one app to switch to another.

Fantastic ROM! Everything is fast and as it should be. I just have one complaint. I don't know if this is ROM or version-based, but the keyboard doesn't have any shortcuts on the keys now. Any chance of that returning?

How did you even get it to go above the stock 1.9Ghz? Even with this kernel, it won't go any higher. I normally use ROM Toolbox for overclocking.

According to this thread, a stock ROM of Kitkat was released. Are any developers going to be releasing a ROM? I'm currently running CleanRom, but that's been discontinued, so I'm waiting on whenever someone releases an updated ROM. Thanks!

That's likely the problem, then. Even though the CPU clock speed is pretty good, with all of the other processes going on, it can't seem to keep up with everything properly. Try going into Developer Options and changing your number of background processes to 4 (recommended) or 3. In doing so...

Perhaps your GPU is clocked too low for those games; have you overclocked anything?
