    For my region, I've been receiving security updates every month, my current Security patch is December 2017, Huawei never missed a single monthly security patch afaik since Nougat in my region C636.

    For those having problems with this update (due to incomplete flash procedure) use the latest Firmware Finder on the Play store and update through HiSuite using their server side proxy.

    Yeah because you need to flash hw_init you can go back to MM firmware and use Firmware finder to flash B386, since by using that method it flashes the firmware correctly. And Firmware finder cannot override System Updater on nougat that's why yoi need MM

    Phew, thank God it was fixed, all I did was disable the Play Store app, redtore the factory version and then enabling it again, Factory Reset wasn't necessary after all. Thanks for the help again :D, I found this solution online and found that it is common on other phones too.

    I factory reset before update (to B636) but I restored backup from B381, I'll try to factory reset without restoring backup, how is yours though? Does it say certified?

    After rollback and downgrade to B168 and upgraded to B190 then to B361 Google Play says my phone's Certification is Uncertified :( Fastboot says Phone is locked and FRP Lock, did not install any custom recovery

    I upgraded my phone to B381, it has the March 2017 patch and I upgraded through the built in software updater, not the DLOAD method and I still got the battery drain. I rollbacked to B361 for now

    Thanks for trying to help but I have fixed the problem now by first flashing B168 (flashed older version but still did not fix the issue) and then upgrading to B190 via Firmware Finder proxy

    I don't have NRD90 Test keys in Build/Baseband version though... I read somewhere flashing update_data_full_hw_default.zip would fix this? Any experience on that? and I believe my phone came with either B168 or B190, I just bought this 2 months ago.

    The Powet Intensive prompt hasn't prompted me of any apps that is using too much power on the background for days! And there has been no new apps listed in "History of Power Intensive apps" since I updated to B381, this could be the reason why people are having poor battery on the latest update...

    No this is just a mismerge which produced a bug that causes "random" switching of Volume levels for speaker and headphones when using headphones even though you're not plugging or unplugging the headphones, it is not only a Spotify or Telegram problem, but hey they already fixed it.
