Nexus s internals aren't the best but enough to handle any version of android!

Have you tried flashing other ROM? Seems a software failur to me. I guess Flashing Stock firmware again or another rom may fix the problem.

Works with no problems! I rooted my GT-I9020A successfully!

Try clearing its data in settings.

Try cm9 or cm10. CM looks pretty good, has a lot of features(especially CM10) and doesn't use too much of RAM.

CM9 if you want walkman and other media apps CM10 if you don't want sony media stuff (except old walkman and clear audio+)

CyanogenMod 9 and 10 are good choices if you want good look with speed and performance. And don't forget LWW is officially supported. Its simply amazing!

I recommend ICS if you want better application support. Also it performs very well especially battery after further ics updates. You won't regret upgrading to Stock ics.

Amazing work! I think there is no other rom with this great look with performance! Only one problem, when the notification power widget is enabled, whole of the notification bar becomes blank and toggles appear after 8 second approx. ITS GREAT!!!!!!!! :)
