I use this ROM now for about 3 weeks. Very nice build. Keep up the good work. Only issues I found: Lockscreen shows slow charging even on ac adapter. The battery dialog shows it correct. Apps do not get a location if they use the (old but not deprecated) android.location.locationManager api...

I guess if an app uses the (old) location api (android.location) it does not work with this ROM. Don't know if this is a Nougat limitation (don't think so) or there are location provider libs missing in the ROM (I guess this). If the App uses the recommended way of Google Play Services location...

Love your build. Thanks very much. Only thing I find ugly is the AOSPA clear all recents in the navigation bar. I have cleared all apps accidently several times now. The original rastakat solution seems to be better for me.

This is a known problem with all kitkat versions. In early versions the solution was to replace system/lib/libmmcamera_interface.so with the one from the factory image and the green line was gone. I think this will still work.

Just tried camera and video recording has again the green line at the bottom. Seems that we have to pull this camera lib again from factory image.

Have you set up a Android build envirionment? Another good source for this is here Then just do the steps in the second post to get the flo sources. If you can generate a build for flo, we can add the deb specific things. I will help you with this.

High battery drain I installed latest version from PlayStore on my N7. have the problem that it produces very high battery drain when a notification is visible. See the screenschots. If no Notification is shown everything seems to be fine.

Replace system/lib/libmmcamera_interface.so with one from a stock 4.4.1 ROM (like bigxies), reboot and then the green line will go away in recordings.

Switching to ART on 4.4.1 is great. No WhatsApp crshes anymore. Speaker seems to be better with Trinity 4.4.1 kernel. Camera working great, though I haven't used it much before so I can't compare it to 4.4. Perhaps simms can say more about it because he don't use the camera at all. :)...

Yes, lightflow is quite useless without enabling the service. Tasker will work for many cases but can't intercept notifications.

No. Statusbar brightness control is disabled for tablets. Rascarlo said it has issues on tablets so he disabled it though I don't exactly know what issues he found because I thought it worked well on flo. Maybe it had problems on manta? I don't know.

For all having issues with the systemui fc: Go to Settings/Accessibility and disable the service for all installed apps. There seems to be a problem with the navbutton customization if these services are enabled for any app.
