Yep, same situation here. Now I'm really pissed off :mad: Tried several methods to get my root back without any success. I can get full root access only for Froyo, but not for GB. **** happens...

The updater is V20G and yes, obviously it is the main reason for all the trouble with rooting. Waiting for workaround...

Did u test it by yourself? Cuz I c that u'r using Link2SD. Yes, I have rooted GB and I don't want to mess the things up installing the script, if it won't work.

Hi all! I have LG O1 with stock rooted GB. When trying to install cooked files, I see this type of error: Amend scripting (update-script) is no longer supported. Amend scripting was deprecated by Google in Android 1.5. It was necessary to remove it when upgrading to the ClockworkMod 3.0...

**** happens! I flash new GB over devoid with KDZ updater. Everything went fine, but… now I see that there’s no Market installed. WTF? I’m logged with my Google account but my device is not recognized at https://market.android.com... Any help? :confused:

Wipe - flash - done! For your ROM you need the bfs kernel.

Yes, I'm still using it! Perfect 10 for me :) I just don't want to install GB. Not yet. I'm afraid I'll be disappointing comparing it to this great ROM...

It is obvious for you too... On page 508 there is v18-bfs! I think the guy needs cfs version, because the ROM he use is Froyo-based.

Pitty, I have to confirmed faster drain with new kernel compared to the previous version. Performance is really good, but can’t say the same for battery life :rolleyes:

Yes, I was thinking the same each time I stuck with the logo. But believe me - it takes looooong time to rebuild. I mean over 15 to 20 minutes. Or even more. I never manage to obtain clean reboot after wipe. I'll repeat - no problems with flashing over new kernel.

Confirmed here. Fresh install - no problems. Update to newer kernel - stuck with logo (but only if wiping cache + dalvik!). If I flash kernel over old one without wiping anything - it works! Maybe this will help :rolleyes: P.S. I'm using the ROM in my signature, if this means something.

Is there a problem if I flash Ring No Fade (new version, supporting Gingerbread 2.3.3) on Froyo ROM? :confused:

Try to downclock it! Maybe this is because of kernel panic. Use for example 729/480 values for any governor you choose.

I’m not trying to say that u'll have problems when u do this. U probably won’t. Just don’t make any sense to move manually apps to SD, when the script does it automatically, once u installed it. And if there’s an option in app menu – move to SD, just don’t use it, ‘cuz it will move some parts of...

Once u have d2SD installed, u should not do anything with your apps! Do not move them to SD manually, 'cuz they won't be placed on your ext partition, but on the SD root! Native app2SD in Android does exactly this!

Yes, it is a kernel panic. I also observe it in my O1, when try to OC too high. Now I've found that my stable values are 748/480 smartass :)

If u partition your SD card u will lose all the data on it!

Yep, previous one was shipped with Gingerbread keyboard, but in the final froyo version, it was removed. I dunno the reason. :rolleyes:

Hi guys! Strange "problem" here... Using devoid. #froyo-final and No-frills at 748/480 smartass. I observed that in idle mode, after few minutes (20 or more), the app change governor. Sometimes to ondemand, sometimes to performance. No manual changes from my side, no reboots, unclean shutdowns...

Of course... NOT! I guess there are duplicated apps in it. So maybe something will go wrong.
