Post [LOS14/15/16/17 Android7/8/9/10] MIC GAIN and a little Speaker gain too!

Thanks a lot for the flashable zip, fbs. Have been using it for several months without any issue. Just needed to re-flash after upgrading LOS from 16 to 17. Had the same issue. The first time it failed with the error 7 after leaving the zip signature check selected, and several times...

    Post [solved] Unknown baseband fixed!

Worked for me, thanks a ton navcar! My issue was a zeroed IMEI on a G900F running LOS 14.1. I made a backup of the broken EFS first to avoid breaking the poor thing even further. On a rooted adb shell: klte:/data/asd # dd if=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/efs of=efs.bak klte:/data/asd...

... and for the ungoogled ones! This is terrific news, I just patched my system using Tingle [0] and can confirm that signature spoofing is painlessly enabled. No Xposed + FakeGApps [1] required. Thank you very much for your efforts maintaining this project, ace2nutzer! [0]...

You can make some noise here https://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/v87-patch-reach-xposed-android-4-x-t3509584 and hope that Xposed for 4.x gets an update (I need it for microG).

Thread Will the v87 patch reach Xposed for Android 4.x?

Xposed has us bootlooping after ace2nutzer applied the latest security patches in this 4.4.x ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-ace/ace-2-develop/kernel-ace2nutzer-kernel-20141027-t2920365/ To be clear: 20161122 = no bootloop...

ace2nutzer yes, was fixed but he's only building for Android 5+. There's another similar 1-year old issue http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/xposed-android-4-4-4-t3249895/ that got patched by the community, the dev never showed up. I can't find any official statement, but seems like he...

I use xposed. Will install 20161126 today and report any issues. --- Yes, bootloop after reinstalling xposed. My bet is that ace2nutzer applied the patch mentioned in this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=69777118&postcount=40, but xposed releases for Android 4.x are stalled...

Yes, either a ~working client with BlankStore [1] or a dummy one with FakeStore [2]. Yes "GmsCore includes the Unified Network Location Provider module (UnifiedNlp) which handles application calls to Google's network location provider. It relies on location and address lookup backends which...

Yes, I'm running the whole microG stack since a couple of months without any location issue. The location functionality is fully implemented tho: https://github.com/microg/android_packages_apps_GmsCore/wiki/Implementation-Status Other ROMs add a setting for signature spoofing inside the...

ace2nutzer could you consider including microG's patch for signature spoofing? https://github.com/microg/android_packages_apps_GmsCore/wiki/Signature-Spoofing https://github.com/microg/android_packages_apps_GmsCore/tree/master/patches

The standard ROM (20160908) installs smoothly, but the full one (20160907) sends me to a bootloop (optimization over and over, catlog keeps running forever). I've tried many wipes/recovery/kernel/base ROM permutations, but nothing seems to work. In particular, installing the full one on top of...

Thanks. So 20160908 is the "standard" version, without that feature?

Seems like my problem was related to Xposed. After removing it I'm no longer able to reproduce (phone has been running fine for many hours now). Will flash the new release and see if solves the issue. +1

I'm having the following problem - after a fresh start, OS runs fine for ~10 minutes - then, back and menu button won't react, as if something was overlaying them. Keyboard doesn't show up. No clear trigger - this affects everything except the drop-down notifications/quick settings (which is...

Flashed 20160831 and installed the Xposed spoof tool in the meantime. Now I see it under developer options, but I can't tell if that's native from the ROM. Thanks anyway. No freezes here. Using full version, just recorded 1min video without issues.

Could someone specify where that setting is? It doesn't seem to be in the usual place, Settings -> Apps -> Advanced. I'm running the 20160824 image. TIA
