    Post [D85X][F400][LS990][VS985][STOCK-MM->6.0] Solid Kernel V2.55 [05/08/2017]

    I use CleanRom. I liked it an xceed, but if my device ever runs down to zero battery (happened overnight most recently), the next time it boots it gets stuck in a loop of rebuilding the dalvik cache then rebooting. Reflashing the ROM bricks it even further. It's why I can't use or recommend...

    Post [D85X][F400][LS990][VS985][STOCK-MM->6.0] Solid Kernel V2.55 [05/08/2017]

    I like Xceed for a mix between performance and battery life, BUT I've found it totally nukes my ROM if it happens to run out of battery, so I DON'T use it. Your mileage may vary. Solid is, well... solid. Battery life has been 28.6/2.7per hour for active/idle. However, it eventually seems to...

    Post [ROM][01 Sep] Clean ROM 3.2 [MM 6.0 - All Variants]

    I'm also having this issue. Does anyone know a solution? I've verified my APN settings and tried different apps. Another issue I'm running into is I'm very quiet to others on phone calls. Switching to speakerphone doesn't give the same issue.

    Post [ROM][OFFICIAL] LineageOS 17.1

    I am not. It's in the general UI itself. It happens when swiping down the notification menu, swiping notifications, and using back gestures or recent apps gesture nav. The lockscreen lag the first few moments after boot exists for me, but is only a minor annoyance. ---------- Post added 27th...

    Post [ROM][OFFICIAL] LineageOS 17.1

    I've been running my D851 for awhile on lineage_d851-userdebug 10 QP1A.191105.004 and one thing I've noticed is that eventually the system UI will seem to hang up frequently for about 1-2 seconds at a time. It didn't happen upon first install and it goes away for some hours after a reboot. It's...

    Post [ROM][9.0][ABANDONED] ResurrectionRemix 7.0.2

    Did you flash using a recent version of TWRP from Hardstyler? Like 3.3.1, I think? That's why I've seen it get stuck at the boot screen. If I move TWRP back to an old version for multirom, it will fail to boot. If that doesn't work, try Fix Contexts under Advanced in TWRP.

    Post [ROM][9.0][ABANDONED] ResurrectionRemix 7.0.2

    For any D851 users, the August 20190820 update was misplaced in the D852 folder on MEGA. You should still be able to download it there.

    Post [RECOVERY][3.3.1][ABANDONED] TWRP for LG G3

    Just flashed recovery-1.img on D851 and it goes to fastboot instead of TWRP recovery. Currently working on recovering. Edit: You don't need to be on a specific TWRP to flash this upgrade, do you?

    Post [ROM][10.0][ABANDONED] AOSPExtended 7.1

    From the LOS thread: I figured, I would reply here since it's what I'm currently using. First off, best of luck with your exams! They definitely come first! This ROM has been pretty stable and smooth on my D851—a joy to use. That said, I've run into a few bugs on AEX 9. Maybe you've also...

    Post [ROM][9.0][DISCONTINUED] Bootleggers 4.1

    You may need to either re-flash the latest modem or do the following: 1. Flash root 2. Wipe system/data/caches 3. Flash Pie ROM per instructions, making sure you're using the right TWRP version It seems there have been cases of modems and sensors and such not working properly unless you start...

    Post [ROM][OFFICIAL] LineageOS 17.1

    I've been loving Pie on my D851, thanks for all your hard work! However I keep running into a recurring issue. After awhile, maybe a day, it kind of craps itself as follows. Bluetooth turns off and can't be turned back on I lose root and Magisk won't open Shutdown/Restart seems to power down...

    Post [MOD+TWRP][D85x|F400|LS990|VS985] MultiRom v33e [02-16-2018]

    I ran into the same issue attempting to install Fullmics as a secondary. I swapped my primary Oreo install to a secondary and was able to install Fullmics 8 as primary. Both boot now, but Magisk after 14.0 may cause trouble on secondaries. Hope this helps if you still have the problem.

    Post [ROM][8.1.0][Official][D851][Mountaser Halak]Resurrection Remix v6.0.0 for LG G3 D851

    I have a smartwatch and have likewise been experiencing frequent Bluetooth crashes. I haven't noticed it happen if I'm just connected to a BT audio device. Also, for some reason, my phone sees GPS satellites but can't get a fix when set to device only.

    You want to look at his other thread. So far, it has only been built with 8.0 in mind, so trying with 8.1 would be very much at your own risk. Backup first. https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/development/d85x-solid-kernel-v2-3-t3630806

    Post [ROM] 13/12 | Fulmics ROM 8.0 ◦ v30N ◦ Tweaks | HUB | OTA ◦ MM 6.0 ◦ All variants

    My status bar clock sometimes freezes and won't update. I semi-frequently find it to be between 5 and 45 minutes out of sync with the real time. I've tweaked its font weight and size, so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it. Has anyone else run into this or have any fix suggestions?

    Post [D85X][F400][LS990][VS985][STOCK-MM->6.0] Solid Kernel V2.55 [05/08/2017]

    It looks like there used to be a script available to tweak the kernel, but that's no longer available under the Downloads section. Did that script get deprecated or go away? The settings available for the Interactive governor don't seem to work properly with how this kernel has been tweaked...

    Post Hunt for original LG G3 Genuine battery

    Update to my last post: Looks like genuine batteries are back in stock. I'd been watching the LG site for a few days now, and the only option has been "Notify Me" on the BL-53YH batteries. Checked in this afternoon and it's "Add To Cart" for $15. I recommend buying now, cause who knows how much...

    Thanks, aclegg2011 for all you've contributed to this project so far. Looking forward to whatever is up next! In other news, I recently upgraded from 03/14 to 03/26 and my data connection wasn't working. I flashed the 30E modem as suggested and my phone boot-loops until I re-flash the 3/26...

    Post [ROM][OFFICIAL] Resurrection Remix v5.8.3 [d851] [NOUGAT][07-02-2017][WEEKLY OTA]

    I'd found that my screen-on-time was about average, but idle time was unusually short. My awake times were 25% due largely to location services. So far, I installed and configed Greenify this afternoon and it seems to be working.

    Post Worthy upgrade from a Galaxy S4?

    I came from a GS4 and was pleased with the upgrade. In particular, the larger screen and additional RAM and storage. A wireless charging back has also made a welcome addition. You may not get any better battery life, though, due to the screen and stronger SOC components. I'm about to try out a...

    I recently had some issues connecting to Wifi as well. Likewise it was at a Hotel or Library where the Wifi appeared to be public, but would only grant access after visiting a website. Eventually it worked, but it wasn't instant. As for my battery life, it greatly improved once I turned off...

    My average since May 2 has been 18h24 (8h active) of battery life with 1h56 of screen on time. This includes some recent poor battery life, possible due to the addition of some bad apps. I also haven't tried out version 4.0 yet.

    Thanks a ton. I've been loving this ROM so far as a replacement to the abandoned CyanideL ROM. So far this has been quite stable with all of the customizations I'm looking for. Battery life has been good, too.
