Where are you located? I've noticed sprint doing some shady things, like calling Carrier Aggregated 4G LTE on the 2.5G band 5G in several cases. My average speeds, while on 5G have been around 125MBPS down / 15UP and my best was 450MBPS Down/20UP at a random intersection near my home.

In most markets, at the moment, It would appear sprint is just calling their 2.5GHz, Band 41 LTE as 5G. They are doing some backend stuff with 40-60MHz channels and adjustable sub-carrier frequencies for 5G NR, however, at the moment you won't be seeing any huge improvements as theyre still...

Ive had this battery for about a year now and have to say that the battery cells are surprisingly low quality. Mine started degrading after close to 250 charge cycles and now I can barely manage 4hr SOT with this thing. When I first got it I could easily push 10Hr SOT.

Is there a changelog for the most recent release? I just got my phone back from repairs from LG and it seems somewhere between 9.1 and 9.3 something broke. On Candy 5 with my D850 I get tons of SODs with 9.3, but not 9.1 (I had a similar issue with 777 Kernel a while back)

Ive got this issue as well. Its really annoying. I always keep Wifi off to extend battery life but with M I might as well just keep it on...

Hah true. I had them with the 8.3 version if this kernel. I'll try 8.4 and maybe those test versions when I get the chance

I can reproduce my SODs most of the time but they don't seem to throw anything in the Logcat that I have. On my D850 it seems to have to do with either greenify doing something right after I lock or has to do with the amount of time I wait before turning the screen back on (like maybe right...

So I reflashed the ROM to regain the stock kernel, is it normal for the lowest GPU step to be 200mhz? I know with 777 it was 27mhz

Ill post my complaint about this bug in the 777 forum as this bug is a killer for me, since from the looks of it its probably just the Kernel.

What Kernel is your main choice? I love 777 because of all the customization (And for some reason it seems to work the best with my shoddy SD card). But these SODs are killing me.

Thank goodness its not only me. Ive noticed hitting the phone on a hard surface seems to get it to wake (Which i find odd and wouldnt recommend) Ive been screwing around with the Kernel options for ages and cant seem to fix it. Its hard to tell whether the kernel or the rom is to blame here.

Can anyone get Xposed working on this? Ive tried the unofficial one for 5.1.1 but it results in the phone being super slow due to a lack of system memory or a bootloop.

Are the Devs for this ROM still active? The latest Nightly for the nexus 5 is from two months ago... I love this ROM but a few of these bugs are annoying.

Alright guys, so I think its finally rime I update from rooted 4.4.2 So what Im wondering, What is the easiest way to un-root, Update then re-root. My Android is too modified to take an update and I want to loose as little data as possible. Thanks guys.

From what I can tell the boot completed does nothing. And since LADDM is removed data can't be uploaded.

The thing about the nexus is that in order to see any of the motherboard components I must take the phone apart. So rubbing with a soft toothbrush won't work.

I take it that soaking the screen would be a bad idea.

I had one of these for the iPod touch 5th generation and the lightning plug in the case came out and almost got stuck in my ipod. I think that micro usb may be a stronger connector. Ill probably wait to see other companies version of the battery cases for the nexus 5 come out...
