No, it still persists. Checked with older and latest Google Maps, with ROM clean flashed. Back to Xmas edition now. BTW fingerprint works for me flawlessly. Edit: The build of today (Feb 11th) still no progress... :-\

I was already on Derpfest 10 before. I flashed over the existing data, but except for that all the partitions have been cleaned before. Having seen Google Maps crashing, I cleaned up the data of that app, but I it still crashed. All other apps were working fine.

With the build dated January 23rd Google Maps still crashes. It maybe takes a bit longer.

I checked the battery optimisation and settings, cleaned app data, installed an older and the latest Google Maps... No chance.

Just in case: the developer has already published another update, dated January 13-th. The web updater seems to be fixed there. Anyway I'm back on the Christmas edition, because with the latest update Google Maps crashes for me every few minutes. And the font size + inteface size seem to work...

I think, you can simply assign long press to 'back'.

I have to tell you, this is actually the best ROM ever used by me on Land since very beginning in 2016 yet. Everything works smoothly, supported by awesome battery backup. Just one thing: MMS not working as usual. I hope you will be the first to fix it. Besides, great work. Many thanks for that. :)

When I flashed for the first time, the finger print feature wasn't installed. I reflashed and it works now. My banking app doesn't want to use finger prints as login method due to security reasons (with Magisk hide enabled). It worked on Oreo. WPS push for Wi-Fi doesn't work. Probably mms...

I have been using it for a few days now and the only problem seems to be unstable backlight. Automatic adjustment based on ambient light does not work. Almost every time when I wake up my phone, the brightness is set to zero.

Testing. Lots of customizations and good smoothness like in the Oreo build. For the time being the power menu has disappeared after a few hours. Reboot, flashing ROM again don't help. It just does not show, just screen dims a bit. Edit: accidentally I have set the power menu opacity to zero...

I would say, it is hard to enjoy this ROM, because hardware keys cannot be programmed for custom actions (long press, double tap...). There is a special menu in the Bliss options for hardware keys customization, just it can do everything except for the customization itself. Having quickly...

This bug is present in every ROM tested by me so far, even in stock MIUI. It's annoying, just after some days it becomes stable finally and contacts are not being erased anymore. Nevertheless I can't imagine not having a backup copy of my contacts, just in case.

It is still there. You can't use this ROM with automatic brightness. Once you set it, you can see the screen getting very dark after some idle time. But if you lock the screen and unlock it after just some seconds, it looks good.

I just can guess, your phone got encrypted. You have to go back to TWRP and select Format Data, but in this way all your personal data and files will be lost. :(

Can Viper handle calls and data transfer simultaneously? I use separate SIM cards for data and calls... And it would be great if the developer could add torch as option to be assigned to the hardware keys. Another nice detail missing in Viper is resizeable clock in the status bar.

It was good for me as well, just after a reboot it was not accepting my PIN anymore. Flashing that ROM once again did not help much - PIN was accepted, but no signal was received by any of my SIM cards. I went back to DND as usual...

I would say, it is rather quick discharging. 8% down in one hour on screen mostly disabled. :)

There was no limitation regarding the version of gapps (Pico or Nano) set by the developer and flashing both files together caused no booting. I will try next time, for the time being I am a bit tired. ;)
