Does usb tethering work?

USB tethering is not working at my end. Also, file transfer from phone to PC using USB throws an error and cannot copy. Enabling usb debugging or opening a file manager makes it work.

May be and I don't understand why connection is refused by google. The settings for giving access to less secure app to sign in is off (recommended setting of google). I am gonna try previous version and see.

Its a solution not perfect but you won't notice. Its safe. Flash through twrp.

Try it

Uninstall previously installed Gcam if any then try. Make sure camera 2 api is enabled (not a cause for installation failure). If it does not install even then I am not sure what is your ROM set up. Its working fine here.

Why do you think you can update an app from playstore for which devs spend so much time to port for non google devices? You have to stick with the apk you got or try a different one but not update through playstore.

Not all Gcam works. The one I found in this thread I guess, works absolutely fine.

I am not sure what camera app you are talking about now because the default camera of LOS 15.1 and GCam does not update from playstore.

Flash miui through fastboot then repeat the process maybe. Vendor wipe was not required as per instruction of dev.

Battery drains fast when application are used though. I forgot how it was on miui. I guess thats normal.
