I don't do that method because it wasn't occured to me so, yes, if you still occured the bootloop. If not, then you don't have to. In my case I just flash it normally, the step were : Format data - 4 dot wipe - ROM - GAPPS - reboot. (Format data wasn't necessary, it's just my preference)

Did anyone facing this issue too? All my app is took twice as the storage from what it should. I already clean all cache, re-install, but no good. It happens in every pie rom, I just realized it now. I have the exact same app, I even haven't opened the app for the 1st time. I've try everything...

On 10 January build, Rounded corner & Status Bar padding are missing from interface option.

You always could build your own ROM and update it daily if you want.

LMK causing this issue, just simply disable it via Kernel Adiutor under the low memory killer. And the memory management would improve. Some roms have already disable this feature, you should too

Some user says, if you install the rom twice, it'll solve the issue, I haven't confirm this, but would try it later. Maybe someone wanted to confirm this. :angel:

Cannot boot into HS . Tried : 1.) Both dirty & clean flash 2.) With & without gapps 3.) With & without magisk 4.) With & without formating data 5.) Lastly with treble & non-treble twrp Ended up with same result, on last build (28 Des) booted and running perfectly, with normal installation...

I also facing lag while playing games, but when I clean flash it one more time I figure what cause these issues. Spectrum have a wierd behavior controling the kernel, and not work as it supposed to. By disabling the spectrum after the clean flash, the rom work as smooth as before. Gaming...

It works just fine for me, ROM + GAPPS only, I restore my google backup on 1st setup.

Found this following issues as reported by user to me : 1. Built-in screen recording doesn't seem to record on full resolution on landscape. Potrait doing just fine 2. ROM won't boot and result as blank screen when installed with magisk. Tho, installing magisk after the 1st reboot would fix it

It's pie(SDK28) supported since last october update, by this means not visible on Battery Optimization, but they add XiaomiDoze, that triggering deep sleep and optimized doze. I've tested myself.

Simply do this.

Simply install Universal GMS Doze on magisk, and your deep sleep and battery drain issue fixed. I don't need to config anything, and install the ROM with normal method.

1. Make sure you've installed the supported substratum apk for pie 2. Make sure your theme suppprt pie also 3. After building theme, reboot, go to manager and enable all installed theme manually.

I think, not really, even when I run pretty big task like watching hd video or light gaming(arcade), big cpu is not quite fully necessary, it won't even go up to max freq, bcz not needed anyway, and this where actual cpu hotplug play role, when max cpu threshold is set to certain ammount...
