Any update on the app?

Great battery life for me! I haven't really been connected to the wifi for much time... All LTE and 3G for the most part.

I saw almost 6 hours of screen on time... Nice! I'm 100% stock no greenify, Google Now on, wifi on all day and I'm at 3 hours of screen on... With 14.5 total hours... I've been pretty pleased so far.

No where did they ever say that the Chromecast could run without another device once it started... So since it was never announced or talked about, that DOES make it an interesting development... :D!

N4 Blackout Issue I'm having the same issue. I'm on a bone stock N4 running Android 4.3 from the factory image. However, it is an interesting development that the Chromecast continues to run even when our device is off... I'm betting that soon we'll see a crack to running the full Chrome OS...

Android can use HTML5 for things but it's core OS runs Linux w/Java... At least AFAIK...

Yea, doesn't work on the Galaxy Nexus. That's EXACTLY the app that I have/had but it doesn't work on Jelly Bean.

This seems to really be everything I want when I add Franco Kernel. I would love to see this build with on screen buttons and the stock buttons disabled. Otherwise, this has been putting together exactly when I like! :D!
