I have ads blocked fine when I use Firefox, but when I use Samsung browser on my note 9, I see some ads. Is there a filter for Samsung browser like there is one for Chrome?

Just do a factory reset. There should be no ads by default. You might have installed some app that you should not have or accepted some ads in an apps installation process. It is hard to know what is causing you to see ads without knowing what you have installed, but I'd suggest resetting phone...

Thanks for the info. I've managed to get Adhell 3 working to stop ads, though. Adblock is the main reason I root my phones, now that I have it with Adhell 3, I will give Samsung's OS a shot and see how it goes.... at least until a sweet ROM tempts me too much haha.

I have never tried glass films, but from my experience with plastic ones, if the screen isn't 100% clean, you get bad results. This is why I always install the screen protector the same moment I open the phone from the box or at least use isopopryl alcohol and micorfiber towels to leave it...

Carrier unlocked is not the same as bootloader unlocked. One let's you use any carrier SIM card the other let's you flash stuff. I can buy the N9600 but I am not entirely sure if it will be able to get fully twrp working and root

I live in south America and I usually buy my phones on Amazon usa (usually I go for Exynos dual SIM because I need root), they are offering the N9600 version here... So, with the advances going, it is safe to assume that twrp and root will be working?

I didn't flash any other kernel other than the one required for V2 of this ROM I had stock, went to superman ROM then this ROM V2 no issues there but as soon as I flashed this V5 I can't text my carrier.

Since Netflix stopped working, I am contemplating the idea of upgrading to V5 from V2. There are no hints that V6 will come out soon is there? I rather hold off if V6 is soon to be released :) Amazing ROM, no complaints on my V2 other than greedy Netflix.

Flashing CSC wipes something? I read some claim it wipes data and others say it doesn't. Really enjoying the ROM except my battery drains if I am on 3G. Works great on 4G and was thinking on flashing my CSC to test. Also, is there any way to stop the bloat that comes once I flash CSC... Samsung...

Thanks it might be the searching signal thing because even though phone catches 4G, no data comes through. That is why I have to put it on 3G to be able to browse online.

I have great battery life on this ROM, but when I put my phone in 3G I lose over 50% battery in two hours. There is something seriously wrong. Could someone else please force your phone to 3G (settings - mobile networks) and test? You should notice the huge drop in a matter of 15 minutes.
