Post [ROM][10.0][OFFICIAL][19.09.2020] Bliss ROM 12.12 [Angler]

I had already checked under battery usage and even installed an external monitor app, but no app seems to draw any battery more than a few %, so it must be something with the device itself. Thanks for the kernel tweaks, I will apply them and hopefully that works!

Post [ROM][10.0][OFFICIAL][19.09.2020] Bliss ROM 12.12 [Angler]

After updating to 12.9 I'm getting really bad battery usage when screen is off. I have disabled all lock screen options where the screen turns on for notifications or charging or anything, yet it's still eating battery while supposedly off. Any idea what this could be?

    Post December update breaks magisk?

Thank you so much, this worked! Instead of going back an Android version, I used this script, uninstalled all modules and re-flashed Magisk. It works perfectly now. Thanks again!

    Post December update breaks magisk?

First off, thanks for trying to help! Flashing the stock boot.img "solves" the problem, I can boot and use the phone like normal, but without root obviously. Using the stock boot.img inside magisk manager to patch it with 17.3 and flashing that boot image to both partitions gives me this error...

    Thread December update breaks magisk?

Hi all, I've updated my 3xl to the december update like usual, flash-all.bat without -w. Afterwards, it boots fine, and in settings it clearly states that I'm running the December security patch. However, when I boot into twrp (not installed) and flash magisk, android boots to just before...

Post P20 lite gameguardian don't write value need kernel ROM.

The problem here is that the ptrace call, which is needed for debugging and writing to other processes, is broken on most huawei firmwares. It is probably in the kernel. If someone smarter than me can figure out if it's possible to edit the kernel to enable this, I will gladly share the kernel...

Post [ROOT] How to properly root the P20 lite

I think you mean the directory: On your computer you have the file "fastboot" that you use for sending fastboot commands to your phone, put the .img file in yhe same folder as that program. If you don't know where it is located, you can download the platform-tools files separately and use those.

Only tested on ANE-LX1, you're welcome to try it though. It has to be in the directory of your fastboot executable. Version 8.0.0.104 (C185)

Thread [ROOT] How to properly root the P20 lite

Even without a custom recovery like TWRP you can get Magisk on your phone. To do this you need to manually patch the stock boot image and flash that to your boot partition. However, I've done all of this and with a few steps you'll be rooted. There's a more detailed guide below. 1) Get...

Thanks for this information! Patching boot.img to get root that way is not possible then I assume?

    Post [P20-Lite][ANE-LX1][8.0] Stock Firmware & system.img

Thanks, got system.img from this with no problem, but it looks like there's no boot.img in here, so still no chance for root :(

    Post Root P20?

To use magisk we need either a custom recovery or the stock boot image, which I've had no luck on dumping yet. Anyone any ideas?

Thread [Q] Root GingerBread 3.2.2 HTC Incredible S?

Hi everybody, I recently bought an Incredible S and upgraded it to GB 2.3.3 And like I do with every phone I want to root it, but I couldn't find any methods to do so, I have tried many, like GingerBreak SuperOneClick etc. I did manage however to get it S-OFF, so I won't be needing help on...
