Not sure, didn't see the file. Is phone service supposed to work after rooting via this method?

Finally got everything working. The V4 deleted the chameleon app for me, i was able to get my sprint/boost mobile phone (sm-g930p) rooted. The only thing is i dont have is cell service, but i can probably live with that since im getting a new phone next month anyway.

Do you have any info on the Chameleon app? I'm not able to find it on my phone at all. Is it a system app or something?

Sprint user here: Okay so i installed stock, rebooting stop. It looks like the rebooting is happening after i ran the eng boot.img with odin. I don't get enough time to run the root.bat because it'll reboot.

I'm not sure where that's at. I checked my app list. I tried even loading back to stock. Phone still restarts after being on for a minute or too, can't root it again. I think it's overheating.

Is your phone getting too hot to the point of where it's restarting? I think that's what is probably causing mine to shutdown every few minutes after it's being on.

Using a SM-G930P, got everything to work, except the phone reboots after being on for about 5 minutes. It'll spam all my text messages then restart

Thanks for the response. I think the issue from what i read is that TWRP can't be put on the SM-G930P, something about the bootloader being locked. I tried another method on here and had to end up wiping my phone since it bricked. It looks like my type of phone can't be rooted from the methods...

I normally do the research myself and finally after a week i give up and can't find any sure way to do it. I've tried some stuff on Odin but get a fail message. I've rooted other phones before using Odin years ago, but this phone has been giving me lots of trouble. I have a Galaxy S7 with boost...
