Thanks for the quick response. Its been a minute since I've done some of these things. So with 11, just fastboot twrp to do what we need to, i.e. install magisk or take a backup, and then fastboot again in the future if its needed.

December update install failed and now phone is stuck in a bootloop. **Edit** Was able to get ADB to recognize the device and was able to successfully reinstall the update.

Cyanogenmod hasn't hidden the wifi tethering from the service provider in my experience which is why I was asking about pure nexus or whatever rom ppl may be using to solve the issue since foxfi isn't working on nougat. Is there an xposed module that accomplishes this on nougat or a certain rom...

Thank you for the quick reply. I tried using bluetooth mode, and while it was successful at connecting, the speed was virtually 0 and unable to be useful. I dont think usb mode is an option as I don't know if it will work for phone to tablet. Ideas or work arounds?

I'm brand new to the neuxus 6 platform. my initial approach was to root the stock rom and install twrp using its play store app. I used odin a few times before but that doesn't apply here obviously so I need some guidance on proceeding. :\ not sure how to install twrp from this point

The rom is working well for me in all areas except for battery life. I primarily use it to stream and during this function the battery life is noticeably worse. As a stop gap I run the tablet in battery saver mode but am trying to find a better solution. Any ideas?

The stock msg app loads and is what I use to text. During the interim I backed up, then deleted all texts and restored them. This seems to have resolved the issue for now.

Continously getting a "message not sent" notification that wants me to "touch to review and try again." Texting is working fine and I have no pending unsent texts I can see. I restarted the phone to no avail. How do I fix this? Phone is otherwise working very well.
