Yep. I'm on R/11 and I miss it dearly. I think it's crap to force everything in one window. There's been plenty of times I want to reference something from the initial page that sent me to a webpage, and can't, because it's in the same window.

You should've flashed the magisk.zip file, not the patched boot.img.

Seriously?!? Airplane mode is NOT a good measure of battery life. Lol No doubt this kernel is great (I'm using it) and I understand the enthusiasm, but your use case isn't a good representation of this kernel's battery life :)

Thanks, I did that and it got me further along, but I've had to do too much customization/troubleshooting (local manifest - device, kernel, vendor) to attempt to get it to build (not successful). Thanks a lot though for offering a bit of advice!

Following the manifest to the exact direction, I'm getting an error that "device/Google/coral/aosp_coral.mk" does not exist". Should I be able to build coral following the manifest? I used "rom-build.sh coral" and received an error that "aosp_coral.mk" didn't exist.

Nope..the beauty of having a pixel :eek: lol the install seems to fail when trying to back up the "manifest.xml", which results in a "unable to register DolbyManagerService" error. Everything else appears to be successful. Thanks! I didn't even realize I had that many posts now lol

Yeah, it's not as simple as "works on Android 10". It depends on the phone AND ROM, apparently.

I just dirty flashed the 8/7 build over the 8/6, and same thing: I counted the reboots before it successfully booted: 6... It rebooted by itself 6 times before booting.

Weird result, but I dirty flashed 8/06 over 7/15, and got the same results from trying to flash to 7/25: bootloop. This time, I was in the middle of cooking, saw it start bootlooping several times and said F it, and left it bootlooping. About 5-10 minutes later, I looked over, and it had booted...

Because that didn't work for me (read back a few pages). That's the normal way and the default way I normally flash. At this point, I was trying all possible options. EDIT: That's the whole mystery, as to why the normal way doesn't work and works for others.

Welp, I tried flashing July stock without -w (both slots), booted system just fine. Rebooted to recovery just fine, flashed Havoc 7/25 just fine, attempted to switch slots within twrp and got an error about accessing /system, but it did switch. Flashed 7/25, again, attempted to boot, same issue...

Yep, from the 7/15 Havoc. A few weeks ago, I took the plunge and factory flashed the April full image with -w, booted and setup a pattern, adb rebooted to bootloader, fastbooted TWRP, then I flashed 7/15 Havoc + TWRP, still had decryption working. For the 7/25 update, I dirty flashed it and...

Has there been anyone besides MrBrady that's dirty flashed and had zero issues? Still confused why I tried twice, with 2 different zips and had a bootloop + lost TWRP decryption. Third time's a charm?

I adb pushed the 7/15 version and TWRP to /cache and flashed from there. No need to clean flash or lose data if you need to downgrade. EDIT: I forgot to add that in flashing back to 7/15, decryption also started back working.

Thanks for the confirmation. I stopped and restarted my download once, so that may be the issue. EDIT: I re-downloaded and still had the exact same issue: bootloop + lost decryption in twrp. Guess I'm staying on the 7/15 build...

With the latest build (7/25), I flashed and in addition to a bootloop, I lost TWRP decryption. Anyone have anything similar? I may have had a bad download...

I went back to the old build to get the battery percentage back, and I can now select custom ringtones in an app, but still can't select "none" Edit: ugh, this makes Havoc a no-go for me, because the only sounds I want are phone call and text message. Unless someone can show me another way...?

What's weird is, if I go to settings, sound, choose "Sounds", then "My Sounds", I can see "none". But when trying to select it from an app, the option isn't there.
