Post Forcing Pixel 2 XL Backup

There seems to be an issue with this fix at this time. I have had to do this on a number of Pixel phones in the past, Pixel 2 and Pixel 4XL. Today I received a warranty replacement for a Pixel 4XL (battery swelling). Running: bmgr backupnow --all (fails with transport error) bmgr backupnow...

Post Xoom or Xoom 2 or Nexus 7

I had my UK Xoom from launch, and yes I paid and subsequently learnt that all none-US Xoom's are not GED's. I have flashed mine to GED but if I was buying now I'd have the Nexus 7 in a shot. Do it!

Post [Q] Flash UK MZ604 with US MZ604 4.0.3 from MotoDev. Workable?

Absolutely possible to do this as I did this a couple of weeks back due to Motorola's terrible non-US customer support! Flashed to US GED 3.01 rom then took all the OTA updates to ICS 4.0.4 and hopefully the Jellybean release. I have no issues running the US GED ROM in the UK other than the...

    Post Shafted by Motorola!

I know how you feel, here in the UK we also receive absolutely no support from Motorola, all owners still waiting on the ICS update. Go drop the GED image on it, I did. ... and steer clear of buying any more Motorola products unless you move to the US.

Post How does a goldcard work exactly?

So the bootloader ignores the CID check thus you can flash any image with a different CID. But how does this work? Is this something that Google built into the android trunk or is it am exploit of some sort? Cheers Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App

Post Where to buy Rhodium without contract in UK

Seriously boss. You can buy from anyone of these sellers and if you're not happy, dead pixel or otherwise then you can send it back with no obligation citing distance selling act. The common vendors like expansys, amazon etc are all good for it. Pick someone whom you trust and pull the trigger!
