I have the premium app cloner and am trying to clone the mobile 2.0 apk but when I select spoof location the screen just flashes opens for a split sec then goes back to the same screen without giving me a chance to select a location. Any ideas what would cause this?

Likely have to set apps to not auto update after.

Lately my remote seems to be going to sleep on me. :( If I'm in any particular app or Kodi if my remote is idle for any length of time it lags on the first click or two then it starts working fine. Any idea what could be going on, never noticed this happening before. Thanks.

Has anyone gotten this working with the new Nougat update on Shield tv?

It works the best of any i've tried but still low-rez and stutter for me, not even close to the actual amazon app on fire tv. I'll stick with casting when I want to use my Shield.

Any sideloaded apps I've tried so far run at less than 30 fps, stutter like **** but i'll give this one a try and see.

Works fine, i'd say on par with the amazon app or very close. Zero stutter.

Only way to get directv now on shield tv is by casting.

Yeah I know what you mean, I finally just took the update. Also sounds like there are issues when trying to go from 5 back to 3.3.

I use PIA on mine. Sideloaded, sits sideways, guess you could fix that with some rotation app. Anyways I can connect with my remote and set it up to auto connect when I open it, I disconnect with my remote.

So I have rooted my Shield and when I check Supersu app it tells me I have a few apps allowed to have root permission. I noticed for instance when I open Total Commander I got a popup saying I had been granted root permission, so how do I give root permission to an app of my choice...

They all suck big time and aren't worth bothering with believe me. The stutter like crap, unwatchable basically. I have an android phone and casting works excellent, tv like quality and all 60 fps. If you really want a streamer for directv now I'd suggest an amazon fire tv saw one working...

I have a usb connected and after watching a video it is still flashing on and off, now I want to safely eject it but amazon info says to go to settings/system/usb storage/ and select eject. With the new update all I have is device/about/storage in there I see no way to eject. Any ideas?

Yeah I forgot about using HBO Go :o anyways I've been testing some movies in the the on demand section and some will load but not all, maybe still glitches in the system. Too bad they don't get 5.1 working at least for on demand stuff.

I'm actually using Kodi with the mlb.tv add-on. It works great and is 60 fps, unless mlb screws up with their feeds which can happen from time to time. Here is a link to the add-on, you have to use your mlb.tv login info. Not sure if you've used kodi on a nexus player or not, if you need...
