Haven't been able to flash anything at all to the device.

Ok here's what I've got Dl718M Android 5.1 Kernal Version 3.10.71 Build Number LMY471 I used kingroot 4.8.1 the apk It wasn't attached to a computer at all USB debugging was enabled I just ran the apk and it worked

I've unrooted and re-rooted mine. completed the replacement to SuperSU also. Cant get TWRP flashed although I have compiled one for the device. Xposed apparently isn't compatible but I was able to flash the framework onto the device without bootloops.

Kingroot 4.8.1 rooted this device for me this morning :)

so i've been following this thread from the 1st post., ive downloaded and restored this backup which works perfectly btw. i have an xt1093 US Cellular. it has similar 4g lte CDMA connectivity issues so i have been trying to edit the build.prop file like you have here. i have 2 active xxt1093...

this also happens on my XT1093 5.1 stock...I can twist the camera on hit the home circle and that brings back the display....

suhelbrar what version of xposed framework did you flash and which modules are you using?

im in same boat - but if your rooted just flash cm13 it works very well. i missed "ok Moto" for awhile but not so much anymore... I flashed my factory imaged rooted and xposed it - then made a TWRP backup. Now i only have to flash the backup to get back to ground zero.

2016-01-05 No camera issues however it is worth mentioning that I did have camera issues while using RealONE-CM13KERNELV3_R1_VICTARA - reflashed the backup of the original kernel and the camera has been working fine since.

dave2metz I was in the same situation last week - here are the instructions I followed - easier than expected :) Reboot Bootloader fastboot reboot bootloader OR plug in the power while holding the bottom button 
Once in bootloader short press bottom button once until you see recovery...

I spent the $50 and for that alone it is not that bad of a tablet...as far as feeding my itch to tinker with things - I should have applied that $50 towards a nexus 7 :)

It did not work...the site downloaded the app just fine however the biggest issue has been getting the device recognized by adb. I've tried 2 different adb drivers and neither of those made the device not have the exclamation point in Device Manager. *update* the latest Kingo Root application...
