Thanks for this or has been bugging me for ages. TV player seems to be the only app with text still hanging off the screen but it is only a few letters and I can live with that. Really should be a stock feature.

It's a really old flat screen no settings to change the overscan. Just wide, zoom and 4:3.

Are there any resolution settings or overscan settings in M? I have my Nexus player hooked up to the TV in the bedroom that only outputs at 720p but I seem to get a lot of content hanging of the screen on some apps.

Got it mine, you can see a lot more apps now, still very few useful ones but lots of games. I even spotted ES File Explorer which I know some people have said they had a issue installing after a recent update.

I am in the UK as well and can confirm there is no preinstalled app, if there was one I think this would make me subscribe to the service.
