Just an FYI, I don't think band 12 can be enabled on the ATT H950. I tried this on the stock 5.0.1 rom and I could not enable band 12, loaded the 5.1.1 PR build and still can't enable band 12.

I had the same issue trying to overclock which made overclocking performance worse than stock. You can try to adjust the throttle temps, but if it gets too hot it will just reboot. The heatsink is big, but there is zero airflow.

Is the drive formatted ext4? Is the drive plugged in when you flash the zip? is it external HD or usb stick? External drive need a powered hub.

Probably, There was someone else that tried while they were using stickmout and link2sd and they had issues. If you use v3 make sure the usb drive is plugged in when you flash the zip.

Delete all the files off you usb stick and then reboot the firetv with the usb stick plugged in to it. After it is booted, post the output of of this command from adb: adb shell cat /storage/usb/mountUSB.log

What version were you running before? The bug was it would re copy over data every boot .

Make sure you have the drive plugged in when you flash the zip, because that is when it grabs the UUID of the drive. And if you do a factory reset then make sure you erase everything off the usb stick as well. It just added 16GB of extra space with my drive.

technically you shouldn't even need to do a wipe the first time, but someone here reported problems. I think it was most likely due to stickmount & Link2SD links that were broken or left behind.

when you flash the updated firware update in CWM, flash my zip right after. Do not wipe or do anything it should work.

If there is no way to get into recovery you will have to access the emmc via the hardware root method and copy system back over. Wait for rbox to reply, he may have a better solution.

If you formatted system, i don't know what you can do. I thought if you still had /boot up you could get into recovery. Did you format /boot too?

Updated with new version that only mount /data/media (/sdcard). It should run almost as fast as stock with the downside that /data/apps is still limited to internal storage space.
