Ugh the Fire TV interface is awful. I bought the original Fire TV pretty much at launch and have hated the interface ever since. I rooted and set Kodi as my launcher so I never have to look at that nasty UI. Leanback Launcher is far and away the best TV interface in existence.

Has anyone had success using this on a Nexus Player? Using an air mouse I can't press any of the buttons like the menu button to configure it. I click it, but it just makes a noise and does nothing. Works great on my Amazon Fire TV.

+1 for stickmount. I didn't want to format my 2 TB drive so I rooted and use stickmount. You can configure it to autostart at boot and auto mount when a drive is detected. Works great for me. Sent from my XT1096 using Tapatalk
