Thanks for the reply rbox. So what your saying is my Fire TV is dead. I might just move on then to a new device like the Razor Forge TV when that comes out. I'd love to return my FTV under warranty but i live in Australia and can't be bothered paying for postage to get it replaced

Hi Ashsha I do mainly use my FTV for Kodi, I did previously use a Raspberry Pi but i bought this to replace it as i wanted something more powerful due to the problems i was having with stutters during play back. Thanks for the links too, i did try them but i have had no luck so far.

Thanks for the reply Klite, I didn't unlock the bootloader before installing the menu so that must have caused the brick. I'm only able to see the Amazon logo, it does not reach the Fire TV Logo. I have plugged in a USB keyboard but i can't seem to get to recovery.

Hi guys, I have a problem with my firetv where it won't boot past the Amazon logo. This happened after restarting the system when I installed firetv Boot Menu. Any help would be welcomed

Today I installed the app following the instructions but after a reboot it won't go past the Amazon Logo. Does anyone have any tips on how to fix it? I don't have ADB access to the device via the network have not tried via USB

So i got CM10.1 installed but the ear piece volume is so low its almost not usable, I noticed this issue has been mentioned a few time but there doesn't seem to be a fix mentioned. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? The ear piece volume is fine on stock ROM

Thanks for all the help with the ADB problems i was having guys. I Fixed the issues by setting up a old atom XP machione installed the drivers and Google SDK and the S-Off was done in about 5 mins

I ran the adb reboot bootloader and the phone rebooted but when I run any other command like adb shell the phone is not found I'm running AOKP 4.2.2. Developer options are on. ADB worked fine until I changed my SuperCID using a hex editor. Once I pushed the file to the phone adb no longer worked
