I’m having the same problems from time to time and I have to keep restarting the unit to eventually get it to work. You can turn on airplane mode on and then reboot and then turn on Wi-Fi before turning back on airplane mode.

That's because you're not on 1.3 I get no freezes with 1.3 12hrs a day. That includes installing and uninstalling apps all day. On 1.4 I have freezes every 15-30min apart and have to pull the plug to get it unfrozen.

I used Marketplace Helper 2.0.3 before the build.prop and everything works ok.
