yup im in download mode, but im confused as to how to get a rom onto my device (its not showing up in windows and odin isnt liking .zips?) also noticed this is in galaxy s2 and i have a note2, but principle is still the same!

just some findings: sometimes it wont write in the text field when replying to an sms. going to home screen and back onto sms makes it work. lock screen "honeycomb" is a bit, glitchy, doesnt unlock very fluidly and clips under the clock, ill be putting widget locker on anyway so not major...

basically I can't seem too root my gs2, coming from a nexus one i thought it'd be easy :P Looks like a driver problem, kies is installed (and not running) but odin connects to a port and then when start is clicked it doesn't progress any further. I presume its a driver problem so was wondering...

got a strange error: make/recieve a call and as the screen goes black the call cuts out. also could only use gsm (is it?) to get internet (G network) 3g wouldnt work.

might be me being stupid, but the rom is only a few meg? What to I need to download in order to install on the phone? bit confused here! silly me, 1.0 :P but then what do i do with the usb fix and 1.0.1? just flash each one ontop?

not sure where to put this but here goes: I've used kang on my n1 for ages, and loved the wifi proxy settings, but they aren't there in the 1.1/1.2 betas. Is this a problem your facing or just not got to it yet with it being beta?

latest rom works for me :) to everyone whos asking, all i did was boot to recovery, wipe, flash, reboot.

hey all, been a while since ive flashed my nexus but: it flashed fine, rebooted and im sort of "stuck" on the HTC logo on first boot. cant get it to go any further. could someone give a really quick run down of how to flash this rom, anything i should be doing differently etc? Sorry for being...

omg! Thats the ONLY gripe i had with android/nexus one. (my uni halls of residence has proxy covered internet so browser doesnt work on the phone) That would be absolutely amazing! will keep on b3 for now leo, as im liking having a stable phone for a while :) (plus battery life is superb!)

theres such a thing? I thought android couldnt proxy via wifi?

just flashed with this rom, all went ok, did the initial setup but it FC'ed. now when it boots i can unlock (swipe) and then its a black screen with a notification bar. i can pull the notif bar down, and also long press pwr to get options but thats it ?

went to see toy story 3 and thought "why not" :)

not specifically followed any 2.2 development really, (been busy for a while!) so wasnt sure if anything had been devv'ed or was in dev and havent seen anything shout out too me upon browsing around here. but that info is perfect, thanks :) Tis good to know.

any way to get the desire camera on this rom? (ive no idea if you can just download the apk or what) As i used it in a few earlier roms in 2.1 and much preffered it over the n1 camera

yup. 1. get stuck on going "down". kind of annoying but a spazz around with it fixes it. 2 yup, cant get it to unlock sometimes. 3, sort of. wouldnt mind it louder and of better quality. More depth.

Thanks for the awesome Roms :) Only problems so far: notifications (when downloading etc) have black writing, on a black background, oof. Also, past 2 days I've had really poor battery performance, so a wipe and a fresh install tonight :) Other than that its perfect!

hmmm, i dont use google maps for navigation, i just use navigation. Works perfectly fine :P

wow really smart looking :) if i could put it "ontop" of another rom, I would in a flash. (and not a fan of the iphone icons, trying to get away from the iphone here! :P maybe take on launcher pro's style icons, would suit it well)

Depends on your usage, as someone else said I built my own computer. But I use it for uni/work (game developer) and could simply not live without it. I could however live without the phone. (well, it'd be damn hard!)
