People who like to receive MMS via the messenger or hangouts.

I'm using textra as a fix but I miss having a single app for my hangouts and text messaging.
Can someone tell me what I'm doing to cause my phone to randomly mute all notifications? It unmutes with a simple click up or down of the volume but isn't turned all the way down.
I've checked all the do not disturb settings and they are all off.
Here is the controller from the gaming edition. I'm not going to plug it in until we have root but I'll test the controller out tonight and see how it feels compared to my xb1 and nyko playpad pro.
I'd say I'm getting pretty decent battery life. Using a lot of screen on time keeping up with events in my area.
I've noticed that it requires a reboot every day or two. Starts getting laggy out of nowhere but that might be an app I have not playing nice with lollipop.
Kindles are pretty locked down compared to standard Android phones. Go Nexus or someone with factory bootloader unlock support for the best experience. The M8 is a great stepping stone into the world of Android phones for people coming from the iPhone. Like I said, you can use Amazon Music...
A better bet would be the M8 or Nexus 5(6 maybe?). Amazon smartphone will have a pretty limited market where as the others will have Google Play store and Amazon App store if you want.
I don't know about all but insertcoin does. I'd assume they do.
Sense 6 gets better battery life and the camera seems to snap pictures faster too. I like it way more than 5.5.

If he built it from source it will only get around 7000 on quadrant. Only ones based off GPe or sense get above 11000.

I've been rocking gpe since it dropped. I love it. So clean. I've always ran CM or other aosp builds before this phone.
I'm actually going to switch my dad over to it when kk drops. He keeps hitting Zoe when trying to take pictures and has trouble finding stuff on sense. His first smart phone...
I'm just saying, this isn't the Nexus One, it was said when it was released that it's still a manufacturer phone. Hell, the 4.2 rom was mostly sense under the hood, do you think Google compiled and tested that?

You don't think Google trusts HTC and Samsung at this point?
I'm fully aware of the dispute between Google and CM. That was due CM being able to be put on devices that weren't licensed by Google thus bypassing Google's device licensing. It had nothing to do with certification of the firmware.
You would think that people that love Sense wouldn't need to go into a GPE thread to profess that they love Sense. Odd...
I've been running GPE since it came out. I think it runs great on these phones and the camera works just fine. Sense also runs great on these phones. I prefer the way stock...
I have a pre-order HTC One. No scratches, dents, scuffs. It's caseless.
I never had problems with the Evo3d like others did though. Two years and mine was still 100% perfect.
It has been this way on every Beats labeled phone since HTC started it. People don't realize that it is just DSP and EQ. They think that there is some magical chip that Sense enables.
I personally hate it on bluetooth, I'd much rather use the EQ on my head unit. The option to disable all DSP...
I'm still having problems with a few apps.
I know currents was fixed but you can see the small font or thinking it is a tablet issue in a few other apps. Pocket Cloud being one and the results of quadrant being another. Both of these apps work fine on GE.
I can produce screenshots if needed.
I was waiting for them to place small explosives or use compressed air to blow the box apart all while turning the HTC One on at the same time.
I was disappointed. :(
I hate the how the settings are arranged and the app picker in sense. It's not visually pleasing to me. Those features mean nothing to me if I think the UI is ugly.
I was getting so frustrated at my N7 slowing down after a week or two and being unable to type stuff out because of the lag.
4.3 might have fixed that though, I think 4.2 was just rubbish.
I'm 100% happy with my new N7-2. Runs great and the sound quality rivals my HTC One.
You aren't technically wrong but we may be talking about 200mb of framework for these features to properly work. Why include it if the app can't be installed from the factory because it's a Google Edition phone?
We don't know if there is more to it yet, the only thing confirmed working so far...
They couldn't include camera, gallery and the TV app. It's supposed to be a Google Edition.
If they included all the frameworks and other stuff we would have a desensed bloated ROM. Nothing halfassed about it.

I think most people run into problems when the restore apps that store login info in settings like Facebook and G+. Avoid restoring system apps and those types of apps and you will be fine. I switch between CM, GE and Sense all the time and have never had an issue with TB-Pro.
Stock Browser included in one of these roms would be nice. Sucks loosing all my logins when I flash an update because I have to add the AOSP browser back in. Chrome is trash, I wish they would dump it or at least add the quick controls and fix the zooming.
I am forced to agree. I like the Cyanogenmod camera over sense but the aosp cam is dead last in my opinion. Google really needs to grab some features from CM.
