Yes, but again, the cool thing here is that S-Note exists on both Windows AND Android. When you open S-Note on Android, and have all your notes in folders, etc.. the exact same layout and folders appear on the Windows version of S-Note. ( On my tablet pc, and my Desktop. ) VERY FRIGGING HANDY...

After using voice search a bunch of times on this latest version, it freezes saying "initializing".. Works again after a reboot.

Works fine here, didn't have to do anything special to make it work. Depends on if you have a T-Mobile sim or an At&T compatible phone / sim. Look up the instructions for either carrier or phone and they will be the same for straight talk.

In the ongoing Straight Talk Throttling Saga.. Another phone call.. this time half an hour on the phone.. they reset the plan(s) back and forth. Data speed back. Will see if it lasts. Got them to pony up 5 days free service for all the hassle. :eek: :good: :laugh:

Update: Two days later, without using any extra data.. throttled again. Going to call them and ask them to switch my plan back and forth again..if throttled again, other carrier, here I come. :mad:

So, I'm pretty sure that Straight Talk is throttling me. Days on the phone with customer service, and "reprovisioning" my data, and no change. Could it be that I'm running Baseband i717 UCLC5 with Kernel UCLE3-UCLE577875? I was thinking maybe I had a bad radio or modem combo or something...

Straight Talk APN Settings The apn settings for straight talk att are wrong. I believe the section Proxy under APN had tracfone.bla.bla in it, and under that port 80 Delete those or it will slow your internet to a crawl.

Argh! Tried taking the backgrounds out of res folder in the SMemo.apk to try and make a 240 version. Guess I don't really know what I'm doing. Re-sized the setting_paper_xx.png files and put them back in.. S-Memo crashes. Man.. ICS S-Memo is much improved too. Way better ink / pen response...

Here's a weird one: Adding calendar widget to registered launcher pro causes LP itself to crash. HARD. Have to clear it's app data after it crashes to get it to restart.

Yeah I dunno if this is really ready for prime time.. pretty laggy on my end. Before and after build.prop change to 240 density. Gonna hold out for CM9.

So.. I don't see why this would get anyone in such a hot lather over.. T-Mobile? Still no unlimited data unless you're grandfathered in, and honestly.. I guess TMobile is the cheapest US GSM carrier, but what advantage would this have other than just using the AT&T Note on say.. $45 / month...

It works amazingly well actually. For sure people are using controllers on that game. It's hardcore! Talk about getting killed quick.. I had to buy the sixaxis driver from the android market, and you have to pull the mac address of the ps3 controller using a pc for the first pairing only.. but...

Anyone playing this with a PS3 controller? How can you make your guy turn around faster? I have all the dpad sensitivity settings maxxed out on the sixaxis driver side, and the game end. Pretty cool little game though. Crazy to be playing that quality of a game on a phone!

I think it should be noted that we're looking for apps that specifically use the thing that makes the (Wacom) S-Pen unique: PRESSURE SENSITIVITY! Opacity and line thickness changes with varying pressure. We don't want to sit and list all the bad finger only touch drawing apps out there...

So, if I had gotten my Note on that web special for $150.00 and then wanted to go back to my original carrier, I have 30 days before the ETF kicks in, right? What if I lose my Note in the interim? I pay the full price for that subsidized phone, $350 or so, correct?
