Does anyone know if the M3 Snapshot is using the new kernel or did they revert the change that lowered the CPU boost speeds from 1497mhz to 1197mhz? They made that change a while back with the new kernel but now touch boost ramps up CPU to 1497 on the M build again.

That's cuz ****ing WhatsApp uses RINGTONES for their messaging sounds instead of notifications. Pisses me off too as my wife has Quiet Mode setup but WhatsApp still goes off at night because ringtones aren't blocked (unless of-course you enable that feature which she can't do as she is on call...

That makes no sense. If the device is subjected to things not covered by the warranty, it is null and void at that point. Same with opening the the device and perfectly putting it back together. They may never know it was opened and probably will still honor the warranty for other claims later...

What are you smoking? The CPU isn't the one capturing the video, it's the camera module and if it's not capable then the CPU doesn't matter. Surely the CPU needs to be able to process that much information as well but the camera module is the one that has to be capable of capturing it.
