Yes, unfortunately - Our Blackstone isn't one of them. What you need is a driver from HTC. I had the same problem when i got into developing for my blackstone. You can find the driver here: HTC Sync Drivers 32 Bit HTC Sync Drivers 64 Bit Works in Win7 and XP. Source article

Hey, So i recently reinstalled my Windows 7 and today i plugged in my Blackstone. Windows downloaded WMDC and installed it, but i couldn't see the sd card. I then noticed that the Blackstone also didn't recognize the card, so i tried my card reader, but it just get's stuck and also can't open...

Put BLACIMG.nbh on the root of your SD card and enter bootloader mode, it'll detect it and ask if you want to flash it - press power button to confirm.

As soon as Android is flashable - it's bye-bye WinMo for me...

You can find it on the Market. Look at your apps - there's a Market app - go in it cklick the magnifying glass to search and type ASTRO, it'll give you the search results tap on astro click install at the left bottom corner, it'll download it and install it, then click open and you have a file...

From Android, get a file explorer like ASTRO or Estrong, browse to the file - tap on it, it'll ask if you want to install it - ok and you're done. :)

Vibration always worked, it was just turned off by default. Having "msm_blackstone_pad.vibrate=1" in your startup turns them on.

FiFA10 was working even before the 3D fix. Nova, Heavy Gunner and Dungeon Hunter crash on download screen.

Heavy Gunner - crashes on download screen (but at least it gets there, couldn't get to it before). Crush the Castle - works now as opposed to before where it just quit. Laggy, but at least its working :) Nova crashes on downloading packages.

Or... 1.Copy contacts to SIM card. 2.Start Android. 3.Copy contacts from SIM. They get synced to the Google account - done. No programs needed. Best thing about all these? You only have to sync it once. :p

Yes, it does indeed boot but later i noticed that it makes all its dirs in the root folder and it's messy to say the least. So i'm back to root as well. :) Also wi-fi was unable to start, but not 100% sure that it was related. :)

+1 for splitting. Right now there are 4-5 threads about Android, which isn't much, but they're just going to increase as it is perfected and made into a flashable ROM.

In WinMo: Settings->Phone->PIN/PIN2->uncheck require PIN when phone is used This is with WM 6.5.5 but should be the same with 6.1 and 6.5. You can also disable it on any other phone you have. (the setting is kept on the SIM card)

The one that comes with the Touch HD - 8 GB Class 2 SanDisk works perfectly for me. Disable the pin code request in WinMo, that's the only way for now.

In the startup, yes. Doesn't matter where it is.

Having it on NAND will increase speed a lot. Also battery life. Be patient. :)
