this might be a hardware issue. Try reseating the cables on the bottom of the phone and see if it fixes your issue. The Nexus one cables become loose after a while, I know mine did.

I've read that you need to do remove and insert the battery 5 to 10 times succesively sometimes. In the worst case, I guess that you can open your N1's case and short the cables that broke to jumpstart it. Or buy the flex cable from ebay and replace the defective part.
