I agree, I'm glad people are making mods for this phone. I also don't always need high impedance and I think some headphones sound better without high impedance activated. I hope someone can help with this problem.

Saw a reddit post saying that the latest chrome beta actually fixes the problem of window mode for custom ROMs. Its kinda cool that Google is fixing it because it's having problems with custom Roms usually it's up to the modders to fix the bug. Can't verify it though as I kinda like the window...

I' m running zombie right now but I think both of them only support data f2fs. Yeah with twrp its pretty easy to just format the data partition and then reboot. BTW did you see that post about an xposed module for long boot times?

I'm guessing you did a clean wipe and have reflashed the rom again? I don't know if you tried f2fs but that shortened my boot time to less than a minute.

Would there be a significant difference in speed if you have your system (rom2sd) on external SD compared to only having your data in external (dat2sd)? I don't really need to dual boot any other ROM but I would think rom2sd would be faster.

I read about data loss for fsync as well. I'm not a power user and really only use my tablet as a reader and browser so the risk is worth the reward. I also notice that this rom is quite stable so I'm not really worried about fsync. For I/o I used setcpu at first but you can actually control it...

So I've been playing around as well I've found some old tricks that made mine snappier. I disabled fsync, installed lagfix from the play store, and still playing around with the I/o scheduler I tried ART and that was pretty cool and fast but was so unstable when turning the screen on

Yeah, you can change it through your phone I use root explorer from the market to edit.

since its an issue that will be fixed later... have you tried setting up a task killer that will kill exchange every x amount of hours. since its the cpu death lopp that's draining the bat and exchange should restart itself, closing it every x hrs should give you somewhat of a useable phone...

i used to think that camera flash wasn't a big deal and never really used my video camera. but a few days ago a few of my friends were taking videos with their droids and evo's and only my n1 got to turn on its light being able to record in the dark!

you can install 2.2 with no problem but you have to manually do it. you might get a notification for ota's but you won't be able to install them. just install it manually.

have you tried it on 3g? it's a known issue that sometimes the "never" setting doesn't always work. if you don't want to try 3g, try setting it on "always on when charging" or try this app someone made: wifi keep alive other than your wifi turning off, i don't know why pandora would just stop

I notice on FRF83 when on the dock streaming pandora but connected to the radio by wires not bt that the sound seems muffled and not as clear as 2.1 but if i undock the phone but still hardwired to the radio the sound is louder and slightly clearer. anyone notice this too?

imei why don't you ask htc to compare imei numbers first from what your friend had in his records/tmobile/att account and the phone that they have on hand. might have been mixed up.
