    Thread wifi always stays on (even on sleep mode)

    I just got my new HTC magic from vodaphone and I notice that whenever I'm home, wifi stays on. Even if the screen is turned off (in what I suppose is sleep mode), it is still on. How do I know? the router shows the thing as "still alive", i can ping it from any other computer, and the router...
