The built-in keyboard doesn't have a vibrate option. In fact, no part of the stock OS has a repetitive vibrate mode. I assume that it simply isn't designed to continuously rumble like this, it's a phone not a game controller.

The Epic is... epic. It's an amazing phone in terms of hardware, root it and wait for CyanogenMod to come out for it.

Just use the Nexus on EDGE- there is nothing on AT&T that compares. Unless you can put up with the disgrace to mobile phones that the iPhone 4 is.

I think we should push more for HD video support everywhere- an official 720p update for the Nexus would be great, and there's so much support now, why not have it as a feature?

Send it to HTC for repair since it has to still be under warranty and if you have rooted it they won't be able to find out until after repairing it. Fixing it yourself would be the next best thing if you feel confident with a torx screwdriver.

Their phones aren't cheap, they are just very light, which makes them feel cheap. I still agree with you though, HTC rules.

Try the 6.1.0 beta, it's got some great features and is very stable. 6.0 was just a stabilised rooted port of FRF83, 6.1 is FRG83 with some extra stuff like a better camera app and settings in the notifications bar.

Speed issues on a Nexus are software problems 99% of the time. Just root the phone and install a fast rom like CM 6 and it will be good as new. Also btw, how are you on AT&T in London?

Sim card Take the AT&T sim card out and connect over Wi-Fi, this removes all carrier restrictions to the Market on any Android phone that doesn't have a physically modified market app. Shame for CDMA phones that can't do this.

Are you on FroYo or using the Wi-Fi tether app? The Froyo tethering uses hardly any battery life compared to the earlier modded ones. Use Froyo and maybe carry another battery if you want to tether.

I would assume that the OS uses the flash drive as a filesystem- so put the APKs on the flash drive, download a file manager from the web and install using the file manager. Also I can't get this to work in VirtualBox, it says the ISO file is invalid.

Looks like people with neither of those phones just picked the Incredible because it has a better camera, better touch sensory that makes no difference in Android and now pointless internal memory- the Nexus draws or beats it in every other way and is way faster with 2.2 and no Sense to drag it...
