Has anyone been able to get their hands on the black/white version of the Pixel 2 XL? I am curious if the texture of the back is different for the two colors. Specifically, I'm wondering if the black/white version has the soft textured back like the black one or if it has a more "plasticky"...

Does anyone know if the texture of the back on the black version is different from the one on the black+white? It seems the black+white is more smooth and plastic feeling, while the black has a more rubbery/matte texture? Can anyone confirm this?

With the Moto X, they seem to know that you're tethering... I as able to do this on my Nexus 4 running < 4.4 but once I upgraded, I wasn't able to anymore... I haven't found a workaround right now.

Is there a way to apply this fix on stock Android and without being rooted?

Were you able to find a workaround on your Moto X? Or are you just accepting that it is no longer there.

Is anyone on T-Mobile and able to tether successfully? I recently picked up the developer edition and am unable to tether on Android 4.4 Kit Kat. I used to be able to tether on my Nexus 4 running 4.3 without a tethering plan.

I used to be able to tether on non-Kit-Kat on my Nexus 4. I switched to the Moto X running 4.4 and I am now unable to tether. I keep hitting a T-Mobile upsell page.

For me, it would have to be the camera and hardware of the phone (style). I don't really give a toot about processor speeds. One phone that really fits my criteria is the Nokia N8 but, unfortunately, the software on that phone is terrible. If it had Android on it, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

I am very curious as to how the Nexus S is with battery life. I bought a new Nexus One but stopped using it after only a few days in favor of the iPhone 4 because of dismal battery life.

They might've gotten rid of those things but they added something very special. The contour display is really what matters most because nothing beats a curved display to better fit the contours of your face. :rolleyes:

I undoubtedly think it would have one. Otherwise, not having any kind of notification light would make this phone a major turn-off for me.

I think so too... I didn't like the Galaxy S because it looked very plastic. Reading through the reviews online of the Galaxy S, a lot of people mentioned that the phone is very plasticky.

Same. It makes me feel so much better that I bought an Android phone whenever they drop new updates/features. The biggest features I liked about the 2.2 update were cloud-to-device and wifi hotspot.
