Thread Black vs Black/White - Back Texture?

Has anyone been able to get their hands on the black/white version of the Pixel 2 XL? I am curious if the texture of the back is different for the two colors. Specifically, I'm wondering if the black/white version has the soft textured back like the black one or if it has a more "plasticky"...

    Post Ergonomics (in-hand feel)

Does anyone know if the texture of the back on the black version is different from the one on the black+white? It seems the black+white is more smooth and plastic feeling, while the black has a more rubbery/matte texture? Can anyone confirm this?

    Post Wi-Fi tethering without subscription?

With the Moto X, they seem to know that you're tethering... I as able to do this on my Nexus 4 running < 4.4 but once I upgraded, I wasn't able to anymore... I haven't found a workaround right now.

    Thread [Q] T-Mobile Tethering

Is anyone on T-Mobile and able to tether successfully? I recently picked up the developer edition and am unable to tether on Android 4.4 Kit Kat. I used to be able to tether on my Nexus 4 running 4.3 without a tethering plan.

    Thread [Q] T-Mobile: Tethering

Hi, I'm thinking about picking up a Dev Edition Moto X to use on T-Mobile. I'm currently on a Nexus 4 and do not have any tethering services. With my Nexus 4, I cannot tether on Android 4.4 unless I root and customize a system file. I'm curious if anyone else uses the Moto X on T-Mobile and has...

Thread Solid Black Skin for Back Cover

Hi all, I need some help finding a product. I'm looking for a sticker/skin for the back of the Nexus 4. I know there are skins out there but they are usually transparent. I'm wondering if there's a solid black option available. I know ZaggSkins allow you to create your custom skins and choose...

Thread NEXUS branding on the back

I like the overall look of this phone but one thing that drives me absolutely crazy is how huge the NEXUS logo is with respect to everything else on the back. I wish they kept the old "with Google" branding that is on the Galaxy Nexus on the back instead. I might be the only one that feels this...

    Post Smaller Galaxy Nexus

About 3 days now. I know that, reading everywhere, the size will take some time getting used to but the size just doesn't seem practical to me. For example, wearing gym shorts without pockets forces you to carry the phone in your hand. Given the Galaxy Nexus's size, it almost looks as if I am...

    Post Smaller Galaxy Nexus

This is my main gripe when considering the iPhone! Just like how iPhone users are reluctant to switch because they are tied down to iTunes and Apple services, I'm reluctant to switch because I'm tied to a lot of Google's services like Google Voice and Gmail. Honestly, as a user of Gmail, Gmail...

    Thread Smaller Galaxy Nexus

I previously had a Nexus S but it can get a little laggy on ICS and so I upgraded to a Galaxy Nexus. First of all, I absolutely love it! Post Anyone Come From a Nexus S?

What about battery life? Is there an improvement or is it worse? The Nexus S, in my opinion, has a great battery life for my usage. My day usually starts from 7am and I am left with about 15% at the end of the day around 11pm-12am.

I find that my Nexus S seems to have significant lag at times. For example, typing a URL in the browser is incredibly slow. Hello, Just curious to see if anyone upgraded from a Nexus S to a Galaxy Nexus. Hello, I am thinking of buying a GSM Galaxy Nexus off of Craigslist once I sell my Nexus S. As you may know, there is a variety of versions being sold online. Post What phone/criteria will make you switch?

For me, it would have to be the camera and hardware of the phone (style). I don't really give a toot about processor speeds. One phone that really fits my criteria is the Nokia N8 but, unfortunately, the software on that phone is terrible. If it had Android on it, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Post What do you think about the new Nexus S?

I personally feel like the Nexus S is a little underwhelming.
